I Hear The Wedding Bells!

Bree's POV

3,2,...1!!! Yesssssss!!! I quickly gathered my books as I raced out of my social studies class. That turkey and cheese sandwich in my locker has been calling my name for 45 minutes! Lunch is easily the best subject so I couldn't wait to get there. Speed walking to my locker, I thought about next period.
Mmmhhh....food...lunch....yummy....jeez I'm so hungry!

When I got to my locker I put my combination in and threw open the door too hear someone clear their throat behind me.

"Someone's a quick little ninja today!" I turn around to see my best friend Lily smirking at me.

"I'm so hungry! Bree needs food or Bree gets feisty. Remember?" I said, using my sass.

"How could I forget? You nearly took off my head last time you didn't get food!" Ahh...memories.

Chuckling at her comment, I got the rest of my books and shut my locker. I twisted the lock and turned to walk away. As soon as I started walking, I was stopped by a beautiful sight. Troy...

"Why did you- oh," Lily stated. She knew all about my love for the sweetest boy ever. I've had a crush on Troy for about a year now. Sadly he doesn't see me as a girlfriend, or anything since we only talked once or twice. But, you know what they say: If you don't talk it's true love. Right??

I stared at the dusty haired boy as he struts down the hall. Oh my god he is just perfect. He turns his head towards me and winks. I look behind me but no one is there. Was that directed towards me?? What?? I gave him a confused look and pointed at myself as to say, "Was that gorgeous blue-eyed wink for me?" The jock smiles in return, locking eyes with me. I think I just melted inside.

He finally goes down the next hallway and I'm ready to move again. My stomach growls, telling me to hurry up. Ok, I'm going! I'm going! Lunch is close!

Lily laughs at me once again and heads toward the lunch room. I follow behind her, trying to catch up. I make my way next to her and stare at her.

"Why must you always laugh at me? I just made eye contact with my furture husband, you should start planning the wedding!" I exclaim.

She burst out laughing. Ugh. "Bree, jeez! He looked at you. Calm down," Lily said.

"Looked at me? Well excuse me! He winked at me! Winked! That's it! I hear the wedding bells! I got to go pick out my dress!"

As soon as we soon got to the lunch room, I found an empty table and sat down. I ripped open my lunch and picked up my sandwich. Well hello good looking!

I took a bite of the delicious food. Itwas so amazing! This sandwich should get an award for being so good. And the Emmy Award goes tooooo.....Bree's Turkey and Cheese Sandwich! I took another bite and moaned.

"You would do that alot more with me, you know," a deep voice whispers in my ear. I turm around to find the school bad boy, Dylan, and his little posy standing behind me.

"Ugh. Why are you here?" I say.

"What you don't like my company?"

"Not really."

"We should really change that."

"Eww. Just go back where you came from and rob a kid or something."

"M'kay. Maybe I will."

And with that he left. Thank god. I don't know why everyone is so in love with this guy. He is so inappropriate and a criminal! I still think he stole my fruit roll up last year. Full fledged criminal, I say!

"Bree. Dylan was here. Dylan was talking. To you. LUCKY!" Lily exclaimed, giving me a jealous look. Like every single girl in this school, she is trapped under Dylan's spell. She has a mad crazy crush on the stupid kid.

"He didnt have anything nice to say. Trust me, I'm not lucky," I say.

While all the other girls give me envious looks, I try to finish my sandwich in peace. I also try to find my jock. Troy come out, come out where ever you are!

I finally spot him sitting with the other jocks. Oh there's a sight! He lifts his head up from his dish and glances around the cafeteria. Troy locks eyes with me and I immediately blush. He smiles, shakes his head, and gets up. Then, he starts walking to my table. What. Is. Air.
