Seattle was beautiful honestly, our new house was simple and already furnished. After unpacking, i watched T.V while my mum cooked spaghetti. We talked for a while and slept early since we were tired.
Early in the morning, my mum told me to dress up because she was going to register me at CastleWood High since the summer holiday was almost over.
I still can't believe im almost done with school.

Once we reached the school grounds, it hit me that i was actually starting a new chapter of my life and that i would have to go through the struggle of getting a new friend in this school. We walked to the reception, talked with the principle and later got admitted. I was told to report to school after a week when the holiday is over.

After returning home, i went for a walk and found a small hidden pathway near some bushes that led to a small stream of water, and i knew that this would be my safe spot. I also had one back in our old house where i would go to relax and think. It had been four days since we moved in here and i spent most of my time at the safe spot. I read books, listened to music and took pictures. I missed my Dad.

On friday afternoon, i was sleeping on the grass listening to music, I heard rumbling in the bushes, i got scared and screamed because i thought it was a snake. Only to find a green eyed Derick, i didn't realise i was still screaming. He ran to me and put his hand over my mouth our faces were so close i could feel his breath fanning my face. We maintained eye contact.

He smelt really good and for a second i wanted to remain in this position forever. Whats wrong with me?

DERICK'S P.O.V

On my way, I couldnt stop thinking about Allison and it bothered me alot. I couldn't believe my eyes, It was her, when i entered the small path, she started screaming probably because she got scared. I ran and held her mouth, feeling her lips and hot breath beneath my palm.
Her face told me she was having a mental breakdown with herself.

So i slowly removed my hand, my palm tingling from the loss of her hot breath. What was happening to me? I promised I wouldn't let myself feel these things again. I asked her what she was doing here and she told me she found it a few days ago and that she wasn't going to leave. So i had to share it whether i liked it or not, she was a stubborn one for sure.

I sat down on the grass and took my phone out, scrolling through my mail. I didnt want to go to school, we only had two more days left. I looked at her, she was wearing a black short with a white striped shirt and fluffy slippers, she was very beautiful. I caught her staring at me and she quickly turned. I chuckled " Take a picture, it would last longer"
