320 pounds. It's hard to picture myself like that now. Unhealthy, unable, unwilling, and unstable.

Looking back now, I can see where all the red flags, warning signs, and triggers were. If only I was able to catch them sooner. However, there is never a point in dwelling on what could've been. The best move is to continue pushing forward and past what holds us back.

So before we dive into my story I figure a little introduction is needed.

My name is Savanna Shaw, I was told I was morbidly obese by my family doctor almost two years ago. Since then, I have dealt with the loss of my mother and father, a miscarriage, and managed to push through to become a healthier me. I want to share my story. How did I handle the grief? How did I lose the weight? I'm officially 150 pounds lighter, happier than ive ever been and ready to share all of my ups and downs with the outside world. This is how I, Savanna Shaw, went from panic to pounds.
