There was complete silence for a moment.
"Maya?", Loki and Thor chimed in unison.
"Took you long enough", I grumbled, rolling my eyes. They surged forward at the same time. Loki, having already been close, reached me first. He drew me into a passionate kiss, which I responded to wholeheartedly. Loki was suddenly pulled away from me and I was engulfed in a bear hug. I was immediately reminded of the time Winter was forced to put me in a choke hold during training. When my brain released the memory, I was huddled in the furthest corner of the room, shaking. Thor was standing in the middle of the room, nose bleeding, a look of complete shock on his face. Winter was yelling at him.
"You moron!", he yelled, "She was almost killed using a move similar to that! Of course she would defend herself!"
Loki was slowly approaching me, trying not to scare me. He was stopped by an invisible force about three feet away. My powers were acting up again. Well this is just peachy.
"Winter", my voice was soft, but he heard it. He looked over at me and saw Loki unable to move forward. He came over, walking right past Loki, and started stroking my hair.
"You can let him in Sestra", he murmured, "you know how."
I closed my eyes, concentrating. A pair of cool arms gently wrapped around me. Winter's hand left my hair as soon as they did. Loki started humming softly, rocking gently back and forth. I fell asleep to the soothing voice of my lost love.
