I soon realized that Maya had fallen asleep in my arms, so I turned my attention to the rest of the room. Everyone was staring at me. Great.
"Sergeant?", I asked, "Why did her forge field keep me out, but let you in?"
"Hydra programmed us so that her powers can't affect me unless they want them to, and I can't physically harm her unless they want me to. They used it as a precaution in case one of us went rogue", he sighed softly.
"Wait. Powers, plural?", Stark asked in alarm.
"Yeah, Hydra gave her multiple powers on top of the ones she already had", the Sergeant explained.
"She had powers before Hydra?!", Stark yelled. Maya shifted restlessly in my arms.
"Hush!", I hissed, "You will wake her!"
Stark quieted. He walked over to the computer on the wall and started searching Hydra's database. He found a file marked 'the Elemental'. He opened it and found a list of Maya's powers.
"Read them aloud", Lady Natasha requested. He read through them silently.
"She can do basically everything Reindeer Games can, plus she has hydrokinesis, control over nature, and siren-like powers", Stark read. We sat in shock. She was incredibly powerful. Not as powerful as all of us combined, but still incredibly powerful.
"So," Stark said, breaking the silence, "who's telling Fury?"
