Errors that can occur when backing out of a parking space:

Many errors can occur when backing out of a parking space. Let's list some of these possible errors.

#1: Making sure the car is on.

So many people start freaking out when their car is unresponsive. To avoid looking like an idiot, please make sure the key, is placed in the ignition and turned all the way to the ON position.

#2: Put the car in reverse.

Please..... PLEASE! MAKE SURE THE CAR IS IN REVERSE AND NOT DRIVE!!!!!!! This is one of the most damaging errors you could make. End of story on that one.

#3: If your vehical is not equipped with a reverse alarm, tap your car horn a few times to signal to others that you are about to back into oncoming traffic.

Key word..... TAP! Don't lay on the horn because people will look at you like you are crazy. Also someone might think that you have passed out and need help.

Making sounds with your mouth in the form of beeping is unnecessary and annoying.

#4: Back out slowly! Keep your foot on the break to avoid incidents.

Keyword..... SLOW!!!! Look behind you as you back out. DON'T JUST MAKE IT YOUR OWN AND GO FLYING OUT BECAUSE THAT'S WHEN YOU WILL HIT SOMEONE! Also, some people don't pay attention and think that they can drive past you as fast as possible to try and beat you before you make it out far enough for them to have to stop and wait on your slowness. This happens to me all the time and it ticks me off. Also you have those dumb pedestrians that think they are invincible and don't have to watch where they are going.

#5: Place the gear in drive and continue to your destination.

DON'T JUST SIT THERE! GO ON DANG IT!!!

DON'T FORGET YOU ARE IN REVERSE!!!!!

If you hit something or someone..... skip this step and place the car back in park and call the authorities. Otherwise, it is a hit and run.
