Sinister laughter echoed through the dark halls bouncing moldy wooden doors and chipped concrete walls. You sat shivering as the cackles slowly died away leaving you and the corpse of your closest friend on what was left of the tile floors. Swallowing bile you forced your self up on trembling legs your eyes never breaking contact with the fear stricken tear stained face of your companion.

You avoided looking straight into their eyes, the cold hallow orbs once filled with life now rolled inn the sockets like slimy balls.

With hesitant movement you will your eyes away your mouth going dry as you feel eyes boring into your skull. And then, then you hear their voice. Twisted and distorted, quiet and weak.

''Don't...go,''

You turn quickly to the body, eyes wide and pupils dilated. You feel your hear pounding in your ribs so loud you fear it might burst from its fleshy confines. You stare hard and long at your supposedly deceased friend a crooked smile stretching across their jaw.

''Don't leave me here,''

Your breathing becomes erratic as you shuffle quickly along the walls as the body begins to move. It's jerky movements twisting bone making your skin crawl. You break into a run down the hallway as its head jerks around and you hear the neck snap.

''Where are you going?''

You let out a squeak as the cold breath waffs along your neck. You pick up speed heart beating painfully fast and mouth becoming agonizingly dry.

''Did you lie to me? You lied? YOU LIED!''

The disturbing laughter resumed and you heard the uneven but quick and stumbling run of the ''Corpse''. Tears trail down your cheeks as you sprint fervently breath now ragged .

''You said we would always be together!''

So close, they were barley a meter away. You couldn't run any faster, you dared to look back and there they were. In your face, a smile stretching impossibly far on their face.

''Liar,''

They whispered in your ear. Pain erupted from your stomach, so severe it left you feeling crippled. Blood pooled in your mouth, the metallic taste sickening. You stumble to the floor as the corpse pulls its hand free from your abdomen. Black fluid drips from its mouth and eyes as it laughs. It stares at you and begins to speak in your friends voice.

You never here the words as pain engulfs your mind and sends into the dark endless abyss of death.
