Tears are rolling down her face as she slowly pulls her gaze away from the window.  Her body is screaming with cold as she slips into her bed.

“I can’t believe I loved that fool.” Her hands holding onto a picture of them together at the Christmas party.

“Hunny you have been in there for 2 hours… what is going on?”

“Nothing I just want to be alone.”

“You sure you just don’t want to go outside for a little bit?”

“MAMA, I said no! I just want to be left alone!”

“Just come outside for a little bit. You might not be sad then!”

            “Fine.”

Violet pulls on her jeans and lowers the window, her hair is swept away by the wind as it always does.  She carefully heads to the door and opens it. Takes a step out; to her new life. After the step she fears so much, she fears so much will happen from this moment on.  During the walk down the hall a tear forms in the bridge of her eye, it is forcing to fall but she tries to force it back. The tear is slowly making its way down her rose plush face. The make up from last night, from the last moment that brought her little world crashing down into little pieces.  Her mascara is now matted together from the now steady flow of tears; the black eyeliner has made its mark down her cheeks. Not caring anymore at this moment her hand moves slowly to her face and whips away the black streaks and she sniffles; she whips the tears away and remembers that the last known thing that should be his are her tears.  Because her mama told her that no man is worth crying over and, for once violet thought that she should listen to her mama. Violet tries not to think of that fool she still loves, she tries to push him out of her mind. Push past the good memoirs and the bad and try to focus on here and now. But she can’t because she was in love with him.  As she came up to the front door she held her breath and counted to three and turned the knob.  She opened the door to the new fresh scent of rain. She for one loved this smell; the smell cleared her mind until she realized that Kenny for one was going to be at the park with his friends playing football.

She noticed a place under a willow tree that had these bright flowers that were asking her to come follow me, come see where I lead.  Violet did not even think twice. She walked out into the rain and headed to that path into the forest into the unknown world that seemed not to scare this girl.  Under her breath came her voice that even made her jump she did not realize that she was speaking until she heard.

“Maybe I can be alone for some time to think about what happened and I won’t have my mom or dad barging in on me. I just need my TIME to get over Kenny!”

Within a moment of Violet saying that she heard what she had said she did not get it. Kenny meant everything to her. He was her family, he was her world, and she loved him with every part of her heart or even more. She was still trudging her way through the forest making her way deeper with every step seeing more of her in the darkness that seemed to grow within.  As she thought of Kenny a tear formed and fell but she did nothing to it. She didn’t whip it. She just let it fall down her face. For one quick moment it blurred her vision. As she took a step down her foot went in the wrong direction. She collapsed on herself as you could hear a loud snap of the bone in her foot. She did not do anything. The only thing she could do was sit there in shock. There was no scream there was nothing but dead silence. Then the tears started up again.  A silent stutter came out of her parted lips. Violet tried to get up slowly one step at a time but the moment she put any weight on her hurting foot she collapsed once again. A settle sound came from the branches behind her. She did not move and she became scared. There behind her was standing a dark haired boy with the most chiseled jaw structure in the world. His eyes were a deep blue, bluer then the ocean. He was tall and muscular but at the same time skinny. His voice was deep and harsh but a tone of sweet and caring in it. I was memorized by him. He seemed to be perfect like he had everything in him. I just couldn’t stop staring at him. He seemed too noticed. His voice knocked me back into reality.
