"Morgan, I need you to clean your room," Aunt Pepper called out.
"I don't wanna," Morgan said.
"Why don't I help you?" I asked her.
"Really?" Morgan asked.
"Violet," Aunt Pepper said, but I just shrugged.
"Too late," I said as Morgan dragged me upstairs. It was absolute chaos in her room, "how do you make such a mess?" I asked Morgan as I helped her fold clothes. The little munchkin just giggled as she put her toys away.
"Can I go play now?" Morgan asked.
I sighed, "sure."
"Yay," Morgan said as she ran down the stairs. I figured what Aunt Pepper didn't know wouldn't hurt her, so I put the rest of Morgan's clothes away. I had just finished when I heard the call for lunch. I checked outside to see where Morgan was when I saw a car drive up.
Two familiar figures stepped out, and I bolted down the stairs towards the door. "Hey!" Uncle Tony called after me, but I ignored him as I ran to Steve.
"Steve!" I said joyfully as I crashed into him.
"Hi, Vi," Steve said as he hugged me tightly.
"What, no hug for me?" A voice asked, and I turned to give Nat a hug too. "Nice to see ya, kiddo."
"I'm not a little kid anymore," I said smiling.
"I'm sorry, who is this?" A man asked.
"Scott, this is Violet," Steve said. "She's Helena's great-granddaughter."
"Yours too," I reminded him as I held out my hand to Scott. "But he doesn't want to be called Bisnonno."
"I wonder why," Uncle Tony said from behind us. "And isn't Steve technically your step great-great-grandfather?"
"You're old, man," Scott said.
"Vi, why don't you go inside?" Uncle Tony suggested.
"No," I said as I crossed my arms.
"Violet Lucia Alfonsi," Uncle Tony warned.
"Listen to Tony, Vi," Steve said.
"No," I said, and Nat laughed.
"Listen to both of us?" Uncle Tony asked.
"Yeah, no," I said again.
"Fine, tell us why you're here," Uncle Tony said. So, Steve, Natasha, and Scott told us about how Scott became small, and then big again. Plus, their crazy plan about time travel.
"Welcome back?" I asked Scott.
"Now, we know what it sounds like," Scott said.
"Tony after everything you've seen, is anything really impossible," Steve offered.
"Quantum fluctuation messes with the Planck scale, which then triggers the Deutsch proposition," Uncle Tony said, and I gave him a look. "Can we agree on that?"
"I wouldn't be so sure about the Deutsch proposition," I told Uncle Tony. "A Möbius strip maybe?"
"We'll debate later," Uncle Tony said.
"You're smart," Scott said to me.
"It's annoying," Uncle Tony at the same time I said.
"Why, thank you," I said with a bow.
