Annabeth met Daedalus once and explored the darkness of his Labyrinth 4 years ago at camp. He even gave her a laptop full of his designs but unfortunately she lost it at Rome. She would not give Pasiphaё the pleasure of killing her, of course. She has plan, not an effective one but that would do, she plans on not being killed. That is mostly Percy’s line but that would work for her too.

Pasiphaё raised her hand again and summoned smoke from it, more than the last time. She threw it to Annabeth’s direction. Annabeth raised her right hand, a reflex to block the smoke but she knows it's no use. Golden light shone from it and spread all around, blinding her. Annabeth closed her eyes. The last thing she heard was Pasiphaё’s blood curdling scream. When she opened them, the dome looked like the same as she first stood on it. The light did not come from her hand but from the signet ring. She started to get up and walked to the stairs, she’s anxious to get out from the place.

Annabeth was grateful to feel the sun piercing her skin and to breathe the slightly polluted air. She prayed to the gods of Olympus that that would be the last time she’s going underground because whenever she does it’s not always a great experience.
