Chapter- 43

Elizabeth's P.O.V

I was sitting in my room reading some Wattpad stories on my phone, well curled up in the wonderful sheets of my room. I tucked myself under the heavy blanket that laid on top of me, shielding me from the outside world. I was quite warm underneath all the blankets, I was breathing in my own air, well carbon dioxide. Look at me being all scientific, hehe. I giggled out aloud form my own thoughts. I was still shocked and worried from two days ago when Merlin and Gowther came, Chandler and Cuask, or the people that actually raised Meliodas and Zeldris for the first ten years of there life.

They wanted to kidnap me, Meliodas, Zeldris and Gelda they torture me and Gelda, killing us in the most painful way possible. I didn't want me baby to die, Gelda to get hurt or Meliodas and Zeldris to get hurt, I didn't understand why they wanted them back. I thought they loved them, even though Chandler was pretty scary when we first encountered him in the amusement park. The things he said to me, with such hatred, I hated it, it gave me nightmares after and what if those nightmares actually come true, they still scare me even now.

I then started to think about me and Meliodas' child, Merlin started to explain my pregnancy that everyone and what we had to do to keep me and them healthy.

~flashback~

"Before we do anything I need to tell you all why me and Gowther left." Merlin said making us all nod and worry at the serious expression she had, "we were looking for a way to stop chandler and Cusak from coming to get you two demons and killing Elizabeth and Gelda. We did find a way but also found out about there plans, they plan to drug the two of you and the four of you and bring you back to the demon Castle, then torture the girls until they die."

"What!!" Both Meliodas and Zeldris yelled, I could feel the demon aura swelling off of them,  there demon marks now placed upon both of there foreheads, giving off a purple glow. I curled closer into Meliodas, already in a ball on his lap, I gripped his shirt and snuggled my face into his chest. Even though I was scared from what Merlin has just told us I didn't want Meliodas to lose control, all I wanted him to do was calm down.

"M-Meliodas" I whispered in hopes to get his attention, which I succeeded in doing seeing as he turned his head to look down at me. I gave him a small smile, which made his demon mark go away, and I was happy about that. He bent down and gave me a peck on the forehead with a smile on his face before his face going serious as he turned to face Merlin and Gowther.

"How did you figure this out?" Melidoas asked looking towards the two.

"We followed them to there hideout until they found us, we had a small battle before I teleported us away. We heard there plans for what they were going to do, and the way Chandler talked away hurting Elizabeth actually made me scared, we can't let them get to Elizabeth or Gelda." Merlin explained, I did not like what she said, it scared me so much that I let out a whimper burying my head into Meliodas chest feeling tears arise. Normally I wouldn't be like this, but I'm still not in control of all my emotions from my pregnancy.

"Guys let's not talk about this right now.. We asked you guys here to talk about Elizabeth's pregnancy and also earlier today, she had a meltdown. Her head was hurting, she was herring a ringing in her ear, and she was very scared over something we said, we just want to make sure she's okay." Gelda then said thankfully changing the subject, but I could also here the slight fear in her voice.

"Would you like me to take a look?" Gowther then asked putting down his book, walking over to me and Meliodas.

"Yeah, just try not to hurt her" Meliodas said making Gowther nod, as I sat up a little more straight so he was able to reach my head. His hands then found there place on the head, his thumbs giving light pressure to my forehead as a small glow cane off. I felt a little wave surge through me but nothing hurt. Then after a minute or two it was done, he pulled away going back to stand next to Merlin.

"It's nothing to worry about, she was only in great fear and had a slight panic attack, Princess you'll be fine." Gowther said looking at me with a blank face but I gave him a smile.

"Alright Elizabeth come with me and we'll check your pregnancy, Meliodas you can come too." Merlin said making us nod, we walked into our room and I laid down on the bed. She pulled up the hoodie I was wearing to exposed my bare stomach with a slight bump from my baby forming. She laid her hands on my stomach as a small green glow cane off, she felt around a little and it kinda tickled making me giggle, that made Meliodas smile. Merlin son stopped looking at me and Meliodas.

"So, How is her pregnancy going?" Meliodas than asked grabbing my hand.

"Well good news, the baby's growing just fine, but considering that fact that Elizabeth is a very high up Goddess and Melidoas is a very high up Demon the pregnancy is going faster than normal and it's causing a few more things then normal. You should have the baby in about 3 months from now so that's much earlier than a normal pregnancy, her morning sickness seems to be acting up a lot more than normal, but it isn't a bad thing. Since having a miscarriage is very easy, we need to try to keep her as calm as possible, that means no fear, no worry or stress, beside school work that should be her only worry. The only thing I'm worried about, would be when she gives birth which I will be the one to do so. It will be much more painful, contractions will at least triple in pain then normal, you will start having smaller contractions about a week before the birth and when the happens do not leave move around to much, bed rest until the baby is born. I will do a check up every three weeks now that me and Gowther are in town again." She said.

"Alright thank you Merlin well be careful of that." Melidoas said and we all went back downstairs to tell the others.

~flashback over~

I guess we had to be much more careful with what people say to me. There was then a knock on the door, I knew who it was so I just pulled the blankets more over my head. I heard footsteps come right next to me on the bed and the bed dip a little. "Ellie, what are you doing under there?" Meliodas asked and I could tell he was smiling.

"Reading" I giggled a smile on my face.

"That's boring come on out or I'll tickle you" he said making me squeak and pull the covers down so just my eyes were showing as I looked up at him.

"Nooooo~" I whined with a giggled, giving out puppy dog eyes hoping he couldn't resist, but he gave out a chuckle.

"I warned you" he said and then the covers were pulled off of me and his fingers were poking my sides making me squeal in laughter, giggles coming out of my mouth.

"M-Meliodas, hehe, stop!" I laughed trying to squirm away from him but all he did was scoop me up in his arms and lay me on his chest as he lied down, holding me with one arm wrapped around my waist. "No more tickling me" I tried to sound firm but another giggle came out when I grabbed the finger that was about to poke my side. I then sat up on his chest my butt sitting over his core but I don't think he minded. I then started to trace the bass on his chest now realizing that he wasn't wearing a shirt.

I traced all the lines that laced his chest showing just how muscular he is and I loved it, just knowing how strong he was put me at ease. Well just his whole being put me in a safe place, his words that helped calm me down, the strong chest that I could lean on was so comfortable. As I continued to trace, I felt a hand sneak up my hoodie; well it was actually Meliodas hoodie that I stole from him not too long ago, his thumb ran down my spin from top to bottom getting me me sigh and lean down laying on him. "You like that?" He asked.

I nodded snuggling into him as he slowly took off my hoodie leaving me not wearing a shirt or bra for that matter but I didn't really care. I just got really tired all of a sudden, he gently massaged my back, tracing it and rubbing small circles luring me to sleep..

"I love you" I heard him whisper as I then was out like a light.

Thank you for being so patient with the time it takes me to update, I'm trying to do once a week, with the schedule I've been working on for the last little bit. But I hope you like this chapter.
