Chapter 1

 Narrator's P.O.V

A scream rings through the forest as Abby scolds Marcus

"Marcus you jerk"Abby says while slightly giggling

Abby wraps her arms her arms around Marcus's waist pulling him into a hug. They stay like that for what feels like hours. Until finally Abby pulls away.

"Marcus"

"Yes, Mrs.Kane"

Marcus couldn't believe how much he loved saying that

"I need to tell you something"

"well what is it" Marcus replied in confusing

"follow me"

"Where are we going"

"It's a surprise, okay  we're here now open your eyes"

Marcus opens his eyes to see his favorite place, a little river a little less than a hour walk from camp.

Abby's P.O.V 

Marcus's face lit up when he pulled his hands away from his face. He runs to sit at his favorite spot right at the waters edge. He motions for me to come sit by him. I limp my way over to sit by him.

"So what did you want to tell me" Marcus spoke

"Marcus I"

A loud gun shot ringed through the forest.

"son of a bitch" was all I could mutter

Marcus looks over at me. I wince in pain as I look down at my left leg to see a bullet hole. I fall into unconsciousness. I awake hours later with Marcus asleep on my stomach. I watch as I hear his soothing gentle snore. I feel him start to stir as I lay there he stops moving so I take the chance to lift my head and torso sitting up I move his head to my leg. I wince in pain as the memories come rushing back.Marcus turns head towards me and opens his eyes just as I'm about to fall he catches me. 

"Abby, you need to rest you were shot" Marcus says to me

"I need to tell you something first"

"Of course what is it"

"I'm pregnant Marcus"

Marcus's face lit up "really" he says

"Yes, I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner, are you mad"

"mad-mad I'm ecstatic, I'm going to be a father"

"I see he took it well" Jackson says from the door with a wide a grin plastered on his face "well congrats you two" he says finally walking off.

Marcus leans down and whispers "get some rest, both of you" as he places his hand on my stomach.

                                                                               Time skip 

Marcus's P.O.V

I walk outside ecstatic I'm going to have a little baby Kane in a couple months.

"Kane" I hear someone call.

"Hey Bellamy"

"Hey Kane what you so excited about"

"Abby is pregnant."

"well that's great but I was wondering do you want to go on the hunting trip we can drop you off in Polis on our way"

"Sure just have Lincoln leave his horse so I have a way to get back is that okay Lincoln"

"sure that's fine"

"Okay let's go Bellamy, Lincoln"

                                                                Time Skip

I was on my way back from Polis riding the horse let me use when I decided to stop by a small creek a little less than half way to the camp to take a drink and rest for awhile. As I was going to sit down I fell back tumbling down a deep slope.

I shrieked in pain as I realized I broke my leg "son of a bitch" I said as the pain overwhelmed me I blacked out. I woke hours later to see the horse licking my face. I jumped in surprise I then realized it was just the horse I grabbed a hold of the reins as I hoisted myself onto the horse "home"I said in a stern voice. As the horse started to move I blacked out.

                                                                Time skip 

I awoke to a familiar face looming over me he was shinning a small light in my eye

"well he's not brain he just don't listen" I hear him say with a chuckle then I hear Abby start laugh to "I love her laugh" I think to myself

"Hey, I heard that" as I start to sit up I feel pain shoot through my leg ,I grunt in pain as I remember about the fall.

"Hey, Hey Marcus you need to let your leg rest after that nasty fall" Abby says in a concerned tone

"How did you know I feel"

"You talk in your sleep your were screaming about the pain" says Jackson

"I completely forgot he was here" I think to myself.

Jackson walks out of the room leaving me and Abby alone I look at her " so do you know if it's a girl or a boy"

"girl"says Abby

"Daddy's going to have a little fighter just like her mom"

"she will be beautiful your hair,eyes,and rugged good looks plus my attitude, stubbornness, and smarts she will be unstoppable"

"yes she will I hope she doesn't act like Clarke or will be in trouble"

"you got that right."

"I love you Abby"

"I love you Marcus"
