"Don't you know that there's a whole world out there that we haven't seen?" I told gunner as i looked at the sun setting, resting my head on Gunners shoulder.
"A great big world that awaits us, we will see them one day, and will mark every place we visit on our map" He calmly told me wrapping me closer to him.
"Gunner.." I said but before i could finish the sentence he stopped me by squeezing me lightly.
"No Sophie we will we see the world together nothing stopping us I will carry you, drive you and I will jump through the biggest obstacles but you will see the world, alright" he told me with tears streaming down his face. I unraveled myself from him and held him close to me.
His head resting on my knees as he sobbed tears as I felt mine streaming down my face. I pulled his hair back softly, and calmly whispered in his ear "I am not going anywhere just yet cowboy"
His sobs calmed down as we continue to watch the sunset on the back of his truck in peacefulness only hearing the sniffs coming from me and Gunner.
