Several devices popped out of Tick-tock's sides and reached for Walfrus; various whirring noises could be heard as they lightly traveled his form. "Is he ok? what was that?" Brian knelt down next to Walfrus, but he looked up when he heard Fenris enter.
"They disappeared." he growled angrily"Must have been another Trickster" said Hel."No, I could have followed where they went. This had to be the mask wielder." Fenris sniffed the air. "Even their scent has changed.""What?" demanded Brian
"As their control of the mask grows the wielder will be able to hide from many of the gods." Hel explained."But why did they go after Walfrus." "They were after you, Brian. Not Walfrus. Tick-tock and Walfrus saved you from whatever felled Walfrus."
A loud buzzing sound could be heard and they all looked at Tick-tock who grew to twice his size and his eyes flared with orange flames. "Take your talk to another room! I need quiet." he looked at Fenris "Except for you. You stand guard at the door in case they come back."
They all stood there in shock at the display from Tick-tock but immediately did what was asked when a series of blades slid out from his toes.Fenris nosed the door shut and sat down with a huff. Hel nodded and took Brian by the hand and lead him to the bedroom.
Tick-tick draped a wing over Walfrus and various beeping sounds could be heard.Brian paused and looked at the two "Tick-tock, please let me know if you need anything."Tick-tock glared angrily at Brian for a moment and then calmed "I will. Thank you."
