The room would be buzzing with excitement chattering, and children would be running between the tables in a good-natured game of tag. Then the grooms would enter the decorated reception, with the applause of their many guests spreading across the room. Yoongi would be wearing a black and white suit, and his hair would be slightly parted, while Seokjin would be wearing an all-white suit with his hair pushed all the way back, showcasing his gorgeous forehead.
There would be scraping of chairs as folks get up for a standing ovation, and the happy couple would make their way to the head table, smiling and holding hands. They would sit in front of a bouquet of baby pink and white roses, and the groom, his Yoongi, would lean in for a kiss, making Seokjin blush in embarrassment. There would be cheers coming from the audience, and someone would whoop, probably Jungkook.
After a few moments, the toastmaster would rise from his chair, Yoongi would have specifically picked Namjoon since he was the best at giving speeches, and everyone else would sit down. The sound of Namjoon's teaspoon rapping on the side of his wineglass would signal everyone to be silent, except for the children who would be shushed by their parents.
Their wedding would be a celebration of love to showcase the affection for each other in front of all those who came to share it with them. It would be a day of reaffirming their bonds.
However, destiny had other plans for Yoongi and he and the dream-like wedding Seokjin have always imagined in his mind would never come true.
Empty. The whole room was empty with only the three strangers sitting down on a small bench located in the small courthouse somewhere New York, that would become their witnesses in their secret wedding. Thanks to them, their marriage would be legal as well to the translator that would recite their vows in English to the judge. The judge, the person who was going to bond Yoongi and he legally for life, wore a black robe and had everything set up for their union. Seokjin felt sad and somewhat heartbroken by the way they had decided to secretly get married behind everyone's back, but he knew it had to be done if they wanted to maintain their current lifestyle. He and Yoongi knew if their relationship was ever exposed, for whatever reason, it could destroy the image that BTS had established over the years as well as ruin the image of the rest of the band members, and they would never let that happen.
It was the reason they never told anyone about their relationship in the first place, three long years of being secret boyfriends, of hiding their love for one another in the depths of their shared bedroom, until they decided not to risk getting caught and got their separate rooms when they all moved to a bigger apartment.
Not even their band members whom they considered family knew about them nor the crazy idea, which was suggested by Yoongi, to get married in the same city where their first Stadium concert would take place.
"I, Min Yoongi, take you, Kim Seokjin, to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love and honor you all the days of my life." Seokjin heard the translator that was provided by the courthouse for their ceremony say, as his vision became blurry by the tears that were threatened to fall. Yoongi had just finished putting a ring on his finger and smiled at him, showcasing the gummy smile that Seokjin loved so dearly.
Then, he remembered that everything happened so fast that Seokjin thought he was dreaming. A few days before their arrival in New York, he and Yoongi had talked about spending the rest of their lives together and wanting to get married. He thought it was a random thought on a sleepless night, but when they landed a few days later for their next concert, Yoongi had confessed to him that he had set up everything beforehand so they could actually get married before their first stadium concert. He didn't know how the younger set up everything so fast, but it was the only reason why Seokjin and Yoongi were wearing the sweatpants and the plain T-shirts that they had worn during the practice they had early in the morning.
