I'm sorry if you don't like the bamboo flute. I just really like to listen to it while writing and working so I thought I'd share my taste of music as you read.

The brunette teenager opened the door to have the sunlight kiss her face as she took a deep breath of fresh air. "Mom! I'm heading out!" Rosemary called to her mother who nodded in approval "Alright Rose, be home before dinner!" She replied. Rosemary nodded and trotted outside, shutting the wooden door behind her. Running off her porch, she jumped the three steps and onto the concrete.

Rosemary wasted no time running to her best friend's house. Once at the familiar yellow two story building, she knocked on the white medal door. A tall skinny woman stood in the door way, smiling at the young Rosemary. "Why hello Rosemary, what a suprise to see you!" She greeted her politely. "Hi Miss Gardner! Is Dannie home? I was hoping we could hang today" Rosemary shoved her hands in her overall pockets, playing with the marbles she kept in them. "Why yes, you're just in time darling! Dannie was just about to head out. Isn't that right darling?" The tall woman looked down at her petite daughter, dannie waved happily at Rose and nodded. "Yep! I'll be going then mom!" Dannie exclaimed, walking to Rosemary's side. "Have fun you two!" She waved, closing the door.

"Hey Rose! How're you doing?" The dark skinned girl asked, her black curly hair looking just as awesome as always. "I'm doing pretty good today! I'm so happy we don't have to go to school for another 4 months!" She chirped. "I know right!?" Dannie celebrated. Rose took out her camera, pointing it at the two before smiling "say summer!" She exclaimed. Dannie gave peace signs and shouted along with her "Summer!" The two girls laughed and looked at the picture taken. Dannie's smile grew wider "wow! That's so great! You should be a photographer when you grow up!" She complimented the brunette. "Awe shucks, Dannie.." Rosemary blushed, wearing a cute smile.

"Can we get Chelsea?" Dannie asked, tilting her head. Rosemary nodded "I was thinking the same thing" and with that, the two girls walked off to thier second best friend's house. The White House was easy to find, the fountains and multiple cars gave another obvious clue it was Chelsea's house. Despite being in a rich family, Chealsea was very respectful and wise with her money. She wasn't spoiled rotten like most would expect, matterfact the only expensive things she really has are clothes. Carefully opening the gate, the two girls walk in her yard, Dannie happily pet thier rottweilers, Rosco and Daisy. "Hi puppers! Miss me!?" Dannie giggled as the dogs panted and wagged thier tails in excitement.

Rosemary giggled at the innocent sight and knocked on the fancy medal door. A few seconds later the tall frail girl answered and smiled. "Hey Rosemare, hi Dannie." Chelsea waved to the two. Chelsea wore a pair of shorts and a white laced crop top. "Eugh, get in here you two! It's dreadful out there!" Chelsea groaned, dramatically fanning her face with her hand. Rosemary laughed and walked inside the house. Immediately air conditioning flowed through her hair and against her skin. Sighing in relief, Rose leaned against the marble wall. "Oooh~ it's nice in here!" Dannie complimented. "You bet!" Chelsea placed her hands on her hips and smiled triumphantly.

"Mm, something smells good" Rosemary sniffed the air. "Ooo you're right, smells like pie!" Dannie gave a toothy grin. "Well, your noses aren't fooling you. Mom is making cherry pie" Chelsea softly smiled. "Chelsea, sweetie! Are those your friends?" A female voice asked, "yea mom! Dannie and Rosemary" Chelsea replied. "Oh good, would they like a slice of cherry pie?" She asked, poking her head out of the kitchen window. Dannie nodded enthusiastically and Rose gave a "yes please". "Yea, they'll have a slice!" Chelsea replied. "C'mon, we eat on the table." Chelsea guided the two to the dining room.
