Thousand years ago, the lost paradise was a very peaceful place. But sun clan and and moon clan started a war, resulting the lost paradise to be separate into two as sun sect and moon sect.

Sun and moon clans have been rivals for thousand years and they truly despise eachother. Each clans select their clan leader the moment they're born. In the sun clan, if a new born baby has a birth mark in his chest that looks like the sun, he will be the next clan leader. This kind of child will only be born once in 15 years. Whereas, In moon clan, if a baby has the birth mark of a half moon he'll be the leader which also happens once in a 15 years.

Sun sect is a really hot place and moon sect is the complete opposite being a really cold place. These two clans were separated by a jungle named yiling. Yiling is very beautiful and a mesmerizing place because of the weather it has. It's neither too cold nor too hot. Some call it land of love because of the romantic weather it gives out.

Current Sun clan leader, named wang yibo is extremely cruel than any other clan leader they've had before. He's 23 years old.
When his mother realized that he's the next clan leader, she tried hard to hide him, because she knew that bieng a clan leader is really hard and she has to hand him over to the current clan leader. She didn't want to lose her son so she hid him in the yiling jungle. But sadly, the former leader of those days named lan qiren had found him and locked up wang yibo's mother wang yi in jail for the crime she has committed. But fortunately when wang yibo was crowned as the clan leader he released his mother.

He really loves his mom but he couldn't release his mom until he was crowned. Because of his uncle lan qiren being cruel enough to not let her free. He has all the reasons to hate lan qiren but he didn't because afterall he was raised by his uncle. Although Lan qiren is a cruel man he loved wang yibo and his elder brother haikuan dearly.

Haikuan's and wang yibo's father has died while yibo was in his mother's womb. When wang yi was locked up in jail, nobody was there to take care of haikuan. So lan qiren took the responsibility of haikuan too.

Wang yibo is very cold but haikuan is a very kind and sensitive person, every one loved him. Yibo doesn't have any friend than haikuan, because nobody dared to be his friend and wang yibo doesn't need any friends either he was fine with it. He is very handsome, with the looks that can melt any woman's heart. But thanks to his cold persona he didn't have any love relationships.

There is only one woman he is very close to and that is his mother wang yi. Every one sees his coldness but nobody sees the loneliness that has engulfed his heart. Everyone tries to ignore him not because he is cold but because he is the clan leader.

Everytime he felt lonely he would go to his mother and talk to her. But he couldn't even touch her hand or embrace her, because no one was allowed to touch the clan leader.

Yibo loves riding horses and hunting. He is a very skilled archer and a swordsman. When he hunts he doesn't use any spiritual powers, he only uses his sword and bow. He usually goes to the burial mountain in the west for hunting but this time he wanted to go yiling for hunting. Where Lan qiren has strictly told him not to go.

Yibo couldn't refuse his former leader's words but he badly wanted to go to yiling for a hunt for a change. So he silently left the clan and entered the yiling with his horse lil' apple.
