Lo and behold, the lady cried.
Amidst the dozens and dozens of flowers.
Trying to revive, trying to remember.
All that was fun and all the lost hours.

When did it start? When did it end?
When did the dreams with beloved got wasted?
All of those years, the laughters and tears,
Forgotten because of someone, met for a second.

Alas! Too late to pull out. Too late to regret.
The master got wind of the naughty deed.
Riddled by shame, disgust and defeat.
The man, lost his soul, all his dreams, in that moment.

With no place to go. With no one to be with.
Confused and lamenting, he has but one option.
The man quickly dashed and gripped with his hands,
The knife that he got from their kitchen.

One thrust all it took, one slit on the throat,
How fragile the life, it was over.
The lady in red, in the pool of her blood,
Now lays beside the corpse of her lover.
