Into Town

No One's POV

    Diana was in her room reading a book about how inventions work as her roommates were somewhere else in the dorm room doing their own thing. As she was reading she heard a knock on the door, so she got up to see who it was. When she opened the door she was greeted by (Y/N) as he had his hands behind him, "Good day Diana." Diana had her arms crossed as she kept her usual emotion shown, "Hello (Y/N). Is there anything that you need?"
    (Y/N) brought his arms in front of him showing a small box, "I wanted to give you this as thanks for helping Akko and I the other day." Diana took the gift, "Thank you for the gift, but I must return to my studies, I have a test tomorrow. Good day (Y/N)." "Bye Diana." Diana closed the door as she went back to reading.  One of her roommates came in, "Hey Diana, what does that wooden box do?" "Oh, I don't know really. I'll see later."
    Hours passed as Diana closed the book she was reading, "Is it really this late? Time does sneak up on you I guess." Diana took a shower, put the pin in her hair, and got in her nightgown. She hopped in bed and closed her eyes to find out ten minutes later that she couldn't sleep. She tossed back and fourth, got in different positions, but nothing worked.
    She then noticed the box and thought that maybe it could help her sleep. She set it on her night stand and opened it to have a needle come down on something spinning. It soon started to play soothing music as Diana looked at it, "It's to loud to sleep to, I'll turn it off." Although the next thing that happened was that she woke up with her face on her pillow as it had some drool on it.
    She sat up to see the sun shining and the box closed. She got up to stretch and felt refreshed as if though she slept for days. She did her morning routine by taking another shower, putting the pin in, and getting in her school uniform.
 

    She went to her normal classes, did all of her school work, and all of her homework. Today was the day of the week where witches could go out into the city to but any necessities that they needed. Diana needed some more books to read, so she headed to the portal that was used to leave school campus. When she arrived she noticed that a few inventors were there as they had gadgets to help them fly around.
    Diana noticed that (Y/N) was at the portal as he seemed to be thinking about something. Out of curiosity she walked up to him, "To use the portal you have to go in it and not just stare at it." (Y/N) turned his head to see her, "Oh, well yeah of course. I just don't know how to navigate it." "A couple of your classmates said that your school had a lesson about how they worked?" "Well we did, but I was in detention for accidentally blowing up the cafeteria." "Your just like Akko you know that?"
    Diana got on her broom as she flew up, "Just follow me." (Y/N) activated his hover boots as Diana went through. He followed her until they reached the end and landed in the city that they were allowed to go to. (Y/N) scratched his head in confusion, "This isn't my city." Diana jumped off her broom as she grabbed from the air when she landed, "Yes, this is a different city. I only came to yours because I had permission. I'll be going now."
    Diana started to walk off until she turned around to see (Y/N) looking around as he tried to figure out where to go. She sighed while turning around, "What do you need?" "Well I'm looking for some sheet metal, "Do you know where I could find any?" "I know a place, follow me." She led him around town as the streets were bright, people were lively, and the stores were of multiple varieties.
    They finally reached a store that had every metal, wood, or type of rock that any inventor could ask for. (Y/N) thanked Diana as he walked in waving goodbye. Diana waved back as she started walking away to where she needed to go. Unfortunately where she needed to go was now on the other side of town. She quickly walked as quick as she could, but when she arrived the store closed meaning that she had to wait until next week to get what she wanted.
    (Y/N) headed back to the portal as he had sheet metal packed up in a bag on his back. He ran into Diana who turned around to see him, "I see that you got what you needed." "Yep, it's better than the store back home. Did you get what you needed?" "What makes you say that I needed something?" "Well you came here for a reason didn't you." "Alright I did need something. I wanted to get my wand fixed as it has been slow recently, but the store closed before I got there." "Oh, well you should of just gone if it was that important, I could of found the store with some help from the civilians." "No it's fine, I can last another week." The city bell rang signaling that it was time for students to return to school.
    The next day Diana was returning to her dorm room to see a box in front of the door. She went into her room to open it revealing a metal case and a letter, "Consider this as thanks for yesterday." She opened the case for there to be a few dials that were behind glass and a hole in in the shape of a wand below them. She put her wand in it to have nothing happen, so she closed it and set it on her dresser as she went to do her homework.
    When she got done she went into her room and grabbed her wand. When she opened the metal case her wand seemed different. She picked it up as it felt better in her hand, it moved more swiftly through the air, and performed a spell to have it work immediately. She examined the wand, "So it's a box that fixes my wand for me. It's made from the sheet metal he got yesterday. He made it for... me." She then set the case down as she looked in the mirror to see her face red.
