I'm gonna take Uriah with me to go prom shopping today

Kelliana puts her phone in her lap, glancing back at the teacher as she multitasks by listening and texting Gina who was currently in Ancient History.

It's been over a week since Kelliana had updated her status to "in a relationship" with Uriah and she was loving every minute of it. Even though Dean hasn't approached her yet, she was slowly, but effectively getting to him. She sees it in the way he passes by her in the hallways, and the stares he throws her way in classes and at lunch. Another thing that stood out the most to her that made her lips tug up into a sly grin was his friends coming up to her and telling her to "come get your mans". She knew she was hurting him. And she thrives in it.

First he needed to experience what she felt. Then he shall come back to her. The plan was falling into place. The last piece to the puzzle is Prom night when Dean would finally see and feel what he was truly missing out on.

Kelliana feels her phone softly vibrate in her lap and she discreetly checks the message.

After a boring session of listening to her English teacher always drifting off topic and telling stories that the class does not need or want to know about, but doesn't stop her anyway, Kelliana heads out of the room and straight to her locker, needing to do a few touch ups with her makeup before she attends her board room meeting.

Just when her day couldn't get any better, on her left she overhears something that made her stomach erupt in butterflies.

Can't believe Dean broke up with Priscilla...

Pfft, they didn't even last long! Besides, I think he's still hooked up on his ex...

That's what I heard too!

Thank God for nosy freshmen girls for gossiping out loud in the open or else she wouldn't have known this news herself.

She watches in the corner of her eye as the two young girls disappear from her sight, comically oblivious to the fact that "his ex" was standing right where she can hear them.

The bell finally rings for lunch time and Kelliana brushes her lips with a clear gloss and grabs her phone and her folders.

She was running a bit late to the board meeting, but it was fine since she was the co-captain of the SRC along with Lucas.

She heads into the board room which was behind the main office and she notices two new people who she doesn't seem to know at all.

She concludes the fact that they must be new applicants for the SRC board team. Since she is co-captain, she now has to take the duty to determine if these girls are suitable for the roles. At Hallbridge High, the situation was different as high positions such as prefects and representatives are more determined by students rather than teachers. It was a chance for the students to work together and communicate their needs to the board. The process begins with teachers and class students selecting who would be good for the role and helping them fill out their applicants with surveys, grades etc. and then the captains of the SRC or prefects will finalize the final decision to see if they meet their own initiation brief.

Kelliana strides to the head of the long oval table, greeting her fellow members with a smile and she sees Lucas also sitting there, placing a hand on his shoulder in a friendly manner.
