School had finally come to an end and Kelliana was waiting near the parking lot with Gina. Then she sees Uriah walking up to them in the corner of her eye, but he wasn't alone as she saw that Nellie girl right next to him.

"I'll call you tonight", Kelliana says to Gina as she turns on her heel and waves her hand bye to her friend, watching her go to her own car.

She discreetly rolls her eyes and shuts them, knowing that his friend was probably going to try and brew some more drama, but she wasn't here for it.

She hears them laughing as they near and then she sees Uriah come up to her, saying "hey" in a deep tone, leaning in to kiss her on the forehead to make it seem like they're still a couple. It was one of the added features they needed to do to make the act seem more convincing.

Uriah grabs Kelliana's wrist so that he can lead her to his car as she secures the strap on her shoulder, following behind him.

She turns her head slightly to see that Nellie was following them as well, but she had a scowl on her face.

"So, you two are... a thing?", Nellie raises as they all near his car, Uriah unlocking it with a press on his keys.

Uriah chuckles in response and doesn't bother to say anything back to her, instead waving bye to her and that he'll see her soon and then he gets into the drivers seat.

Kelliana opens the passenger seat door but twists her body to face Nellie who was idly standing there. She looks at her up and down, suddenly feeling pitiful towards her and then heaves a sigh, catching her attention.

"Look, I don't want any drama. Whatever happened in that meeting was nothing personal", Kelliana says to her, trying to fix this tension that she didn't want to have if she's going to be hanging around Uriah and she was going to see her more than she would like.

Why do I have to be such a good person.

Nellie scoffs in return and glares at her. "Nothing personal my ass. I saw the way you were judging me and I know damn well I deserve to be in the SRC just like any of you do", she argues, her voice rising and Kelliana glances around, not wanting people to see and not wanting to cause a huge, unnecessary scene.

Kelliana might as well not lie for her benefit. "Okay, you're right", she says simply, and Nellie's face pulls back as she was stunned by her straightforwardness, expecting her to keep going with the whole innocent act.

Kelliana leans forward, making sure that her voice wasn't loud enough and she knew she was going to rip this girls heart apart with what she was going to say.

"If you want to make it in this world, there's always going to be people judging you. That's just the way it is and I can't have a low-class, social climbing ignorant girl like you, on my panel."

Without a second glance, Kelliana gets inside the car and shuts the door, telling Uriah that they should go now, her tone dejected as she feels the exhaustion seeping through. She could feel her glare on her as they drive away.

"Come on Kells-"

"Don't call me Kells."

Uriah huffs as one of his hands were on the wheel and the other arm leaning on the center console. He continues, "Don't you think you were too harsh on her?"
