A/N: Hi readers, how are you all feeling from the past few chapters? It may have felt a bit slow with some bits and pieces missing from the equation but I assure that everything will fall into place and be revealed in the best pace it can be.
Just wanted to give a heads up that if you've read this far, I've now given this book a 'Mature' rating as I actually took the time (lazy of me I know, this book was originally just for fun but I guess I discovered where my interests lie) to read the content guidelines and realized that there are going to be intense mature themes in this book in future chapters. So now that I know that Love Me Badly will reach the right audience (oof), what can I say? Things might get spicier? Haha.
Without further ado, here's a 2-part chapter and the reason why, well the title hints at it doesn't it? ;), Enjoy!

Like a pet dog, Uriah is being dragged by Kelliana to his early football practice during his last free period before the team gets there.
As they enter the football arena, they head over to the field where they see coach setting up the training equipment and cones, the warm sunrays beaming down at them as they head towards him.
Nearing the tall, dark-skinned athlete with the growing gray beard who had stacks of cones in his hands, his back is facing them until he hears their presence. He turns around with a surprising, yet expectant look on his face, his eyes gleaming as he glances at Kelliana and Uriah.
"Well hello", he gruffly greets the two as he looks at Uriah, giving him a proud onceover as his lips tug upwards. "Uriah Green. The legends are true that you didn't drop out yet huh", he teases as he puts the stack of cones under his armpit to hold it against his side, his other hand thrusting forward to shake his hand.
Uriah has a full-blown smile on his face that meets his eyes as it crinkles under the scorching sunlight. His hand goes to shake coach's hand in return as he gives him a nod. "It's good to see you too coach", he earnestly replies, their hands dropping as Uriah gives Kelliana a brief side glance, who in return gives him a smile of her own and a reassuring nod.
He ruffles his hair on the back of his head, his nervousness slipping in before he meets coach Malik's eyes. "I just want to say thank you for letting me have my spot back in the team. I really do appreciate it", he beams as coach chuckles wholeheartedly.
"You're great at what you do Uriah. It was just a shame that you got caught up with the wrong stuff."
Uriah slightly grimaces as he nods his head in understanding, his eyes flitting to the ground at the hearing of his past.
"But now that you've paid for your mistakes with community service and suspension and with your principal granting you permission to join the team, let's strive forward and put the past behind us, shall we? Think you can bet on that?", he prompts him and Uriah lets out a low chuckle.
"Of course coach."
Coach Malik puts his large hand on Uriah's shoulder, crouching to meet his eyes hard on as his whole demeanor shifts with a stern look. "You better, son. Once I catch you doing that funny shit again on my watch, I'm kicking your ass off the team faster than you can cry for mommy", he warns him lowly, his deep voice menacing enough to make the two teenagers stiff at his threat.
And just like that his stone-cold expression was wiped off and replaced with a brazen grin as he bellows in a hearty manner, his wittiness showing as clear as day as he darts his crinkled eyes between Kelliana and Uriah, watching them try to force out their fake laughs in response to his own ones.
