Chapter Thirteen: Our Friends Return

LUNA'S POV

"Luna do you remember what ingredients are in Skele-Gro?" I looked over at Cho and saw that she was having trouble in potions.

"How to make Skele-Gro? Why are they teaching you that in Potions"

"They aren't, Pomfrey needed help making more Skele-Gro because there have been so many students hospitalized from broken bones so I told her I could help make some but I forgot to ask how" she smiled sheepishly at me,

"Wow I didn't realize how many students were actually getting hurt" I frowned at the thought,

"So you don't know what the ingredients are?" taking my topic change as not knowing what ingredients are in it; but I shook my head.

"No actually Skele-Gro isn't that hard to make; it only requires three ingredients: 1 Chinese Chomping Cabbage, 3 Puffer-Fish and 5 Scarab Beetles" she nodded and wrote them down in her notebook before closing it and setting it beside her.

"How do you know all of this?" I waved her off,

"Nah this is nothing, remember when Harry was in the hospital during second year because Lockhart made the bones in his arm disappear?" she nodded as I smiled,

"I made the Skele-gro that Pomfrey gave to him that night; she needed some help since there were more students in there that night than what she was used too. Only, I was in the back making the potions and she was in the front giving them to all of the patients" her mouth dropped,

"And you failed to mention this to me?" I shrugged,

"You were busy with other things I didn't want to distract you with small things that I've done; all I did was make a couple of potions and that's it" she shook her head and put her arm around my shoulder.

"You don't get it; Pomfrey wouldn't just choose anyone to trust back there; you must really have a talent at potions. Have you ever thought of being a Potion's Teacher? Or a Healer?" I smiled and nodded,

"Yes actually I was thinking of coming back here and being the school's nurse" she raised a brow at me,

"Will they need a second nurse? I'm not doubting you I know that you will do well at being a Healer but I just don't know when Pomfrey is retiring"

"Well I plan on talking with her; I already spoke with McGonagall and Dumbledore before I left last year" she flinched at Dumbledore's name but I ignored it.

"What did they say?" I smiled,

"Well Dumbledore was very supportive and even McGonagall told me that I would be welcome to come back once I finish my schooling; she recons Pomfrey might be a good trainer" she squealed a bit and hugged me tight,

"I'm very happy for you Luna" I smiled,

"Thanks Cho, but what about you? Don't you want to do something once we graduate?" she turned away as she thought about her answer; we never really spoke about what we wanted to be just because we still thought we had time; but as the year grew closer to an end and the war was close; we didn't know when we would be able to discuss something like this again.
