Each member of the Avengers tried but all failed. The only slightest hint to being the one was Steve. I sat next to Thor and laughed with him. It was only when he was slightly tipsy, that he let others touch his hammer. It was a personal effect of his, he wouldn't even touch it, yet I was his favorite "mortal." He wouldn't believe me when I said I was a demi-god myself. I tried to show his I was the triple goddess Morrigan but to no avail he laughed. I never took it to heart. He meant well, never I'll upon me or close friends.
"Come on Y/n, are you worthy to hold Thor's hammer?" Tony smirked at me.
"Maybe not his hammer, but maybe other things." I winked at him and drank from my glass.
"So we are referring to Thor's other hammer?" Natasha chuckled and I rolled my eyes. Thor nudged my side and laughed.
They soon went to bed and I crept out. Curiosity got the best of me. I prepared myself to have trouble. Wrapping my fingers around the handle and preparing for a large weight. I pulled my hardest but the hammer lifted as it were a feather, causing me to fall onto my back.
I smirked, and idea to make Thor himself go mad. I set the hammer down onto the counter and went to bed.
Days passed, Thor second guessing his memory ever time he misplaced the hammer. After the counter, I moved it to the bathroom, then the training room and finally on top of the shelf in his room.
"ARGHHHHHH! WHO DARES TO MOVE MY HAMMER?! SHOW YOURSELF!" He stormed into the kitchen and everyone stopped and stared.
"What are you talking about Thor? You proved to everyone that no one is worthy." I shrugged and ate my sandwich.
"Someone is worthy here, because my hammer keeps moving it. I will find you." That is how it began. He puts it in front of common household items that are used daily.
I caught him watching the fridge and I put my hand on his shoulder. "Thor this is getting out of hand." Using my magic I let the hammer shift and drag across the floor.
"Magic, someone here has powers."
"No shit Sherlock." He glared and I walked back to my room.
∆
I grabbed my water and took a sip.
"Catch!" I turned to see Thor and I held out my arms only to catch his hammer. Shit.
"Ha, I knew it!"
"You did not, it took two weeks for you to find me."
"I knew some of it."
"Stop trying to make yourself smarter than you are. You never once believed me when I told you that I was a goddess." I argued back and threw him his hammer back. I set down my water bottle and felt a hand pin me to the wall.
"You are worthy to hold Mjolnir."
"Amongst other things," I smirk and felt him drop the hammer.
"Are you tempting me? Its hard to tempt a God" He raised an eyebrow.
"Your body seems to disagree with you. My hand cupping the bulge in his pants. A small grunt escaped his lips and he grabbed my waist tightly. "See I am the goddess of revenge, life, and death. Placing Mjolnir to make you go crazy is my revenge for not believing me." I traced my finger up his jaw and over his cheekbone.
His hips grinding into me as he leaned his head into my neck. "Are you sure you can handle my hammer?" Oh he wasn't talking about Mjolnir.
I nodded my head finding some friction with him grinding into me. A small gasp leaving my mouth.
"You are going to be the death of me." Suddenly he pulled away. I stared at him and clenched my jaw.
"Guess this will be my revenge for making me go mad." He grabbed Mjolnir and left leaving me a mess behind him.
