Raven stood there for a split second, dumbfounded by what she was hearing. She turned around slowly and walked to her bedroom quietly as David and Phoenix continued to talk as if she was a small child, unaware of the magnitude of what they were talking about.

She reached her room and closed it quietly, locking it. She took a deep breath and started to pack a duffel bag of clothes, makeup, toiletries and called to have her birth control prescription filled which would be ready by morning.

As she packed her bag, her dresser became bare, exposing a small black safe. She pressed her index finger to the recognition pad and entered the lock code. The lock opened with a faint beep and there it was. A black Glock 43. Small, but deadly. She loaded six bullets into the magazine, and smacked the magazine into place. She turned the safety on and set the gun on the bed gently.

She wiggled her way into a pair of dark blue jeans, and slid into her old leather boots. After throwing on a slightly over-sized t shirt and pulled her hair back into a loose ponytail, she stuck the gun down the front of her pants, covering it with her t shirt. She sat on the edge of the bed and waited for Phoenix to come upstairs.
