It... almost felt like a nightmare. Almost like I knew what was happening, but I couldn't move... I felt trapped inside my own body and I couldn't respond to the people who were talking to me.

"Stubborn... You've always been so stubborn..." Dad's voice said. I felt him touching my face. "Wake up, Charisse Faith. You can't die like this. You can't leave me with your brothers."

I felt my tears forming.

Pero hindi ako maka-galaw.

Hindi ko mabuksan ang mga mata ko.

"You can hear me," Dad said. "I'm sorry this happened to you... I'm sorry your dad wasn't there to protect you... But I promise you that whoever did this to you will pay..."

I felt him kissing the top of my head...

And then I felt myself falling asleep again.

Hindi ko alam kung gaano akong katagal na ganoon. But one day, I could finally open my eyes... and I immediately saw Joey. She looked surprise to see me open my eyes.

"Cha," she said, quickly coming to my side.

I felt so disoriented. I tried to ask for water, but I couldn't get a word out from my mouth. Mabilis akong inabutan ni Joey ng tubig. She began to talk, but I couldn't understand a thing.

"Jia, patawag naman si Dr. Revero," Joey instructed the nurse. She was looking at me and I couldn't quite pin the emotion on her face. "Tinawagan ko na si Iñigo, okay?" she said.

It felt... empty.

My whole body began to tremble at the realization. Mabilis na tumulo ang luha sa mga mata ko. Joey tried to calm me down, but I wouldn't stop crying.

'Yung baby ko...

Wala na 'yung baby ko...

Ni hindi ko pa nga alam kung ano 'yung pangalan niya... kung babae ba siya o lalaki...

"Cha..." Joey said. "Cha, please try to calm down... Baka biglang bumukas 'yung mga stitches mo..."

Hindi ako maka-hinga.

Biglang dumami iyong tao sa kwarto.

"Yeah... but I trust Jax. Hindi 'yun titigil."

"Nasabi... nasabi mo na ba sa kanya 'yung sa baby?" Iñigo asked.
