Alpha Kissed

Chapter one

Walking down stairs I went to the fridge to see what there was to snack on. Another semi sleepless night. How much longer could I have nightmares about my parents death? I could still feel their warm blood smeared on my cool skin, see the glossy look in their lifeless eyes as I screamed for help, its been years why does this still hunt me? Maybe cause you haven't avenged their murder! My wolf yelled not for the first time. 

"Why are you up at this time of night?" My uncle Clave asked as it was muffled by a yawn. 

"Couldn't sleep. You?" I continued searching the fridge finding sandwich makings. Holding them out and looking toward him I raised my eyebrows to ask if he wanted one too. 

"Oh I heard you down here rumaging around. Yeah, I'll take one. So I wasn't going to bring this up but it seems you won't either and it obviously needs to be discussed. You're still having the nightmares about your parents death aren't you?" He spoke quickly at the end understanding that this wasnt easy for either of us I decided not to give him a hard time.

"Yea, I've had them every night this week." I admitted shamefully.

"I just don't understand why I can't let go of it, it was ten years ago." I almost yelled then realized the rest of the pack was still asleep.

"Maybe we can find a way to block the mem..." he stopped mid word when they came crashing in. Vampyres.

"Wake the rest of the pack!!" I yelled to Clave. He ran up the stairs as I ducked and rolled away from the vampires arm that tried to go around my neck. Swiveling around I sent a kick into his stomach knocking him off balance. Shifting as quickly as I could call on my wolf I launched myself at him while he clawed my sides. I briefly heard rustling behind me but then seen Clave take her out before she could touch me.

Using the pack link I asked why he didn't wake the pack. Cause she would have killed you! He answered me quickly while ending the females life. I quickly found purchase on the males throat and jerked my neck so it would rip out his esophagus. Changing back to human form I jumped over the bodies suprised that the pack was still asleep.

I washed my hands and started making my sandwich. While Clave just stood there watching looking sick.

"How can you still be able to eat?"he asked with a nauseous look on his face.

"Doesn't bother me dont know why. So we should get the Bracken Blood pack here soon as possible. I dont care what the rest of the pack says its for our safety. "I spoke as the Luna but I didn't need to with Clave.

"I fully agree. I actually took it upon myself to inform them and ask for their arrival. They will be here tomorrow around noon."

"Good lets get some sleep. If we can." I finished my sandwich on the way to my room. Thinking of the Bracken Blood pack gave me chills no one trusted them but they were the closest to us and we need their numbers to keep the vampyres at bay. Shutting the door to my room I made my way to my bed and closed my eyes. All the problems could wait til morning.
