"Not gonna happen."

"Oh come on Luke, you can trust me." insists Lazarus to his colleague.

"The captain was very clear. You're not going anywhere until we catch the guy." Luke pushes back.

Lazarus attempts to move past Luke as he speaks, "The captain is overreacting, you know that. I'm fine."

Luke looks down at the floor, "You say that as you lean on a cane. How can you say that with a straight face?"

"With style and grace, obviously." jokes Lazarus, "Look, if you let me leave, you can just tell them that I escaped by attacking you with my cane or something."

"And when they check that camera and find out it's not true?" Luke says, pointing down the hall to a nearby camera on the ceiling.

Lazarus raises his cane, waving it around in an attempt to act fun, "Well then, we'll just have to make it look real then, won't we?"

Luke readjusts his stance to a more defensive posture, blocking Lazarus' way.

Lazarus sighs angrily, "Fine... but you're going to be sorry."

"Russ!" someone yells from down the hall, making Lazarus look for her.

Seeing Samara down the hall, he tries to exit his hospital room but Luke stops him, "Not going to happen."

Lazarus pushes back, "She's a friend of my sister man."

Lazarus again tries to leave but Luke stops him, "So talk to her from here."

"Are you all right?" asks Samara as she gets close to Luke and Lazarus.

Luke stops her before she gets close to Lazarus. It makes Lazarus look at Luke and scoff.

"As good as I can be, I guess." points out Lazarus.

"I'm glad. Was Martha here when you woke up?" questions Samara.

"Yeah, why?"

"She was supposed to come back to work after she knew you were okay." Samara explains.

"That's what she said when she left... although she refused to take me with her." says Lazarus, again annoyed by Luke.

"Have you talked to her since she left?" asks Samara.

That gets Lazarus curious, "No, but they took my phone while I was out. I can't exactly check."

"She never showed up back at work. I was hoping you'd heard from her."

Lazarus looks at Luke with anger, "Please tell me they at least left you with my phone."

Luke thinks for a moment, "Pretty sure your sister had it when she left."

Lazarus turns to Samara, "Get me a laptop. I'll use my find a phone feature to look her up."

"Aren't you getting a little ahead of yourself? You don't even know if she's missing. Maybe she's just taking some time off?" Luke pushes back.

"With a murderer on the loose, do you really want to take that chance?" Lazarus says, angrily.

Luke exhales annoyed, "I never said that. I'll call this in and get the team on it. I'm just saying that we shouldn't panic yet."

"I'll remind you of that when they find her and she's not okay." Lazarus pushes back.

"Don't worry, I'll keep calling and looking for her Russ." Samara responds.

"Thank you Samara, at least someone is behind me in this."

Martha wakes up slowly, shifting on the soft bed that she's apparently lying on. She reaches out and notices it, then pushes herself up to a sitting position, leaning on one arm. She looks around the room.

"Hello?"

There's silence from the room.

"Is anybody there?"

Again there's silence, making Marta look around.

"Where am I?"

A voice answers from a very dark part of the room, "At the beginning."

Martha starts looking around to try and figure out where the voice is coming from.

"Hello? Who's there?" Martha calls out, getting no answer before, "Beginning of what?"

The voice responds, "Salvation."

That makes Martha pause for a moment.

"I don't need salvation. I'm okay." she insists.

"We all need salvation. And finally, it has come to you."
