Lillian's P.O.V
I promised not to cry. I always cry. That's not how I want this to go. But seeing Matthew who raised me and loved me even though I'm messed up, I broke down. I run to him and cry my eyes out. He doesn't respond at first but soon he hugs me back.
"What are you doing here Lil?" He says as he rubs my back.
"I missed you. And you were right I should've come with you I just-" I couldn't continue. I was crying so hard I couldn't talk. All of Matt's friends are watching but he doesn't seem to care.
"Come here." he says quietly and takes me to the couch. He sits down and pulls me on his lap. "How did you get here?" He asks me.
"I took a bus and then a plane and rode in a car for a little bit." I tried to explain. "I didn't want to come because I wanted to do something on my own and I didn't want to need you but I do." I start crying so hard I can't speak anymore. Matt hugs me tighter but I can't stop.
"I need you too Lillian I mean you're my sister. We've been through so much together and that's why I asked you to come with me. It was so hard to leave you behind and I'm sorry I didn't believe you about dad."
"No you were right. He has changed, he was being nice."
"Lil, no. He always does that. He'll be nice for a while then go back to how he always is."
"You're wrong he's different now."
"Lillian I-" Matt starts. Someone clears their throat loudly.
"Um, Matt?" Nash questions. Matt looks up, a look of realization crossing his face.
"Oh sorry guys. Um this is my sister Lillian, Carter and Cam I know you guys have met her."
"I'm Nash and this is my brother Hayes." Nash says pointing to him and his brother.
"Hi." I say weakly, still sitting on Matthew's lap with a tear stained face.
"How old are you, Lillian?" Asks Hayes.
"Fourteen." I reply.
"So is Hayes." says Nash.
"So where is she staying?" Carter asks. I look up at Matt.
"Here I guess." Matt says. Cameron starts laughing.
"What's so funny?" Asks Hayes.
"She's gonna have to stay in your room, Hayes. You're the only one without a roommate."
"The hell she is." Matthew argues.
"It makes sense Matt. Hayes does have the single room and do you want your sister sleeping on the couch?" Carter says.
"Fine. But Hayes," Matt turns and faces him, "No funny business."
"No promises." Hayes smirks at Matthew.
Matt rolls his eyes and picks me up off of his lap. "Come on Lillian I'll give you a tour."
