26."I'm still learning about life"

Day 5|| during the walks

Isen POV
I was walking beside Ash during the walk. It was cold, dark, and scary.

The atmosphere was very similar to what I was feeling.

Cold, being my attitude and loneliness.

Dark, being my soul.

Scary... I guess I could use my experience from this day forth. Will all my future relationships end up like this?

Andy was the first ever person I had ever been with. Even much slept with. I loved him. I really did. Of course I still do.

But...

How can we love each other and then cheat. Like damn, I know I'm only a middle schooler. But, still that relationship felt like the world to me.

I must've been looking down cause Ash tapped my shoulder and asked:

"Are you okay"

Well... I don't even know how to respond. At the same time I am and I'm not.

I turned to her and nodded.

"Bitch don't play with me!" She yelled.

Jeesh. Calm down please.

"You really expect me to fall for that fake ass shit?! " she added.

I looked down then back up at her. Gosh. Of course this fatty would know when I'm down.

"Well... Andy and I broke up" I told her

She looked at me with a dropped jaw.

"Are you serious? How?" she asked completely confused as of to why.

I explained everything to her.

"Want me to beat his ass?" Ash asked seriously.

"No! Why?" I responded.

"Cause he fucking cheated on you and then tried to cry to you like wasn't shit wrong," she expressed quite clearly "duhh... that man is clearly in need of an ass beating."

Well, he kinda does deserve an ass whooping for that. But, I don't want to see him in pain.

I stayed silent for a few moments. Ash was just staring at me, expecting a response.

"Let's just continue the walk" I told her.

She complied but did so with a grunt of disbelief.

The walk seemed to go on for hours with all the reflecting I did.

Me and Ash went to the campfire and met up with the rest of our friends. They all shared their experience on the walk. Of course it was loud. That's just us. Well... you can exclude me. I was too busy letting my eyes wander in search of Andy.

But, he was nowhere to be seen.

I wonder if he'll come to the tent to sleep.

Sooner or later all of is will have to start heading to the tents since it's already pretty late.

"Students, get to your tents. It's late and you guys got quite the day ahead of you tommorrow" Guide Noah told us.

Damn. Now I kinda don't wanna go to the tent.

I've got the butterflies.

Ash must've seen the confusion on my face because she pulled me to the side.

"If you want you can come sleep with the rest of us girls"

This bitch just assumed my gender.
