Will this field of grass ever end?

"Vapor... I'm tired." said June.

"Yeah, so am I."

"What if like, this field never ends?"

"Do you always ask stupid questions?"

"Yes."

"Well, then I guess we are gonna die. Unless you wanna eat plants, drink water and walk in this field forever."

June sighed, "I'd probably kill you first though, because maybe I'd find it better without you."

"But then what if you started missing me?"

"Then I'd miss you. It's not like I have the power to bring you back to life."

"I guess."

"What's that?" June points to where her eyes landed.

"That will do." said Vapor, and he started running towards the small building June was pointing at.

It seemed like a little house, but Vapor could tell from the smell that it wasn't just an ordinary house in the middle of a field. It was a farm. Farms can be quite common for the Green-eyed City as the owners can always make sure that the animals have the food they need.

June and Vapor ran towards the farm, not noticing that there was a person watching them from the window. The news of June's escape probably made its way round all the tv's, making sure that no one would help her hide.

Vapor stopped just before he got onto the path towards the main door, June stood beside him, nearly hiding.

It doesn't seem like we are wanted here... What have I done? Do people see me as a monster?

Even though I know that Vapor is the same as me, he is still undercover. I can't do that anymore. Everyone already knows my face and a mask is not gonna do any better. I want to be accepted, not hidden forever-I've already had that.

"Who are you?" shouts a man down from one of the windows.

Vapor smiles, "It seems to me like you already know the answer to that."

June looked down at Vapor's and her feet, they are attached to some branch that grew from the ground, probably by the man.

"I may know who she is, but I don't know who you are." replied the man, staring hard at Vapor.

Vapor looks back at June, his eye colour already green. "How come people always recognise you but not me?"

"Because I'm famous unlike you."

"Yeah, we need to change that."

"You want people to know who you are?"

"Well, I'm always with you any-"

"Eh- You! I'm talking to you!" the man shouted, and the stems tightned around their feet. "Who are you?"

"Vapor?"

June's and Vapor's head turns left.

"PINE! What are you doing? Get away from them!" shouted the man.

Vapor is confused, "Do I know you?"

"I bought the..." she tapped her right templed twice, signalling to Vapor that she means the eye lenses, "from you and your friends."

"PINE! THEY COULD HURT YOU!" The man started to make his way out of the house.

"If they wanted to hurt me, they already would have!" shouted Pine.
