Chaeyoung's POV

Wednesday Morning..

I enter my last class of the day, music, one of my favorites besides art.

Even though I love this class, I don't feel like being here at all right now, so I take a seat at the very back of the room, not in the mood to interact with anyone.

Mina has been avoiding me since this morning. I thought how she just stopped talking and went to sleep last night was weird, but I assumed she was just tired from the previous day's events.

When I woke up she was already awake and dressed.

She didn't even go to the garden with me to meat up with our friends, she said she left her book in class yesterday and sped off before I could even offer to walk to with her.

Every time I spot her in the hallway, she pretends not to see me and hurries off the other way.

I don't know what I did to make her act this way.

I thought things between us were going great so far. We've opened up to each other more in these past two days than we did our during our entire friendship in my time.

I don't know what I did to make her act this way or what to do about it..

I take my sketchbook out of my bookbag, opening it up to a clean page and start to draw.

Drawing has always been my way of coping with things, it's how I communicate best. I can let out everything I'm feeling in that moment onto a piece of paper.

"Hi.. um I'm sorry for bothering you, but do you mind if I sit here? All the other seats are taken." A shy voice appears next to me, making me look up from my sketchbook.

A girl with long silver hair is standing in front of me, pointing to the empty seat beside me. Empty except for my bookbag that I put there with the intention of keeping someone from sitting next to me.

Eh, she seems nice enough.

"Yeah, sure." I move my bag and gesture for her to take a seat.

"Thank you. I'm Yoohyeon by the way." She introduces herself with a friendly smile as she situates herself in the seat.

"I'm Chaeyoung. You new here?" I can't help but ask because I haven't seen her around nor do I remember her from my past high school days.

"Nice to meet you Chaeyoung-sshi. And yeah, I just moved here from Itaewon. It was kind of an unexpected thing." She laughs but I can see pain in her eyes. I know that look all too well, it was my permanent expression throughout college. Act like you're okay even if you're far from it.

It makes me sad, she reminds me of myself.

"Unexpected?" I keep my the tone of my voice light.
