A few weeks had passed ever since Arachnid's first appearance and the misfortune of the other pups' fates. A search party had been sent out to search for the missing pups, their former parents worried sick. A few fathers of the pups threatened their opposing packmates, undoubtedly believing it was them who would've done something to their kin due to them having had a rather strong rivalry. However, Faolan immediately broke those pairs apart with his knowingly growl. He understood how worried they all were, but they couldn't deal with more panic to spread across the pack. The wolves grudgingly agreed, going back to their dens but shooting death glares across to the other wolf discreetly.

Scorpion however, remained in his area inside his den, observing the moss along with its inhabitants crawling inside of it, his amethyst eyes radiating from curiosity. He inched closer towards the moss, inhaling its smell with his nose. He pulled away from the moss, nodding as he mentally took a few notes. Unfortunately, his train of thought was interrupted by his brothers tackling him and pinning him down. Scorpion yelped, trying to get out of his brothers' grasps. His siblings soon let go of him, their tails wagging ever so slightly. His youngest brother padded up to him, licking his snout and grinning. The same couldn't be said for his older brothers though. Especially the eldest.

The eldest of them all stepped up, sneering as he observed Scorpion. He huffed, shaking his head and circling Scorpion as he observed him. Scorpion stayed still, his tail absentmindedly hiding between his legs. Once his brother had finished, he backed off a bit, sighing.

"Just as father had said. Scorp, you are way too malnourished,, and weak I should say. It's a miracle how father didn't finish you off right on the first day. No offense, but we all know the rules here." Scorpion's brother said sternly, his tail swaying slowly. Scorpion lowered his head, his ears folding back. He knew the rules just as well as anybody, but he absolutely despised having to reminded of how small he was and how he was "lucky" to have been spared. Scorpion's brother rolled his eyes, growling lowly. "Father also doesn't enjoy seeing sentimentality. So, if I were you I'd work on that, unless you want to get treated like the omega's pups."

Scorpion rapidly shook his head, gulping as he attempted to think of what to say. He restrained himself, simply pushing past his brothers as he neared the entrance of the den, but the eldest tripped him, causing him to fall. Scorpion froze up, instinctively hiding his face with his paws. Scorpion's brother grabbed his tail, dragging him back inside.

"You're not going away that easily. Scorpion I'm doing this for your own good. If you want to thrive in this pack, you have to at least look fierce. Luckily, I will fix that for you seeing as I care for you deeply." Scorpion's brother smiled warmly, but there was a slight hint of wickedness as well. Their other siblings folded their ears, all of them knowing what he was going to do. In truth, the eldest had done the same to all of them, but they had to go under oath to not tell their parents or to confess if they didn't want something worse to happen. One of the other siblings stepped up slightly, putting on a stern and concerned face.

"Zlavia, you can't do this. Do you know what mother will do if she found out what you were doing to all of us? So what if we don't have the same scars as you do? We're still equally fierce with or without the scars. Just because you have the same personality as father, doesn't mean that you should repeat what he did. You have to get that through that thick skull of yours. Aggression won't get you anywhere. The only thing it'll get you is trouble. We all know you're soft on the inside. You can't fool us, especially mother. So, just drop this act and let Scorpion go. Unless you want us to tell Ivanka?" The pup looked at him challengingly, his tail flicking aggravatedly. The eldest pup shuddered a bit upon hearing the name of their eldest sister. In fact, she was far more aggressive than he was. She truly developed the genetics of an alpha female, and no one dared to cross her path, yet everyone in the pack knew that she had a soft spot for Scorpion. If Ivanka found out what the eldest was doing as well, he would be dead right where he stands.
