The whole room went quiet, as the small, cute male walked onto the stage. He lightly grazed the pole with his hand, twirling around it carefully.

His tights were dark black and covered less than fifty percent of what they should have. He wore a tight white shirt and black bunny ears. His glasses reflected all of the colourful lights from all around the room. His hair was light blonde at the ends but seemed to grow darker as it reached towards his scalp. He was beautiful.

He gracefully swung himself up and around the pole, causing everyone to cheer. I felt the blood rush to my face in an instant. I ignored it and continued watching him sway and slide down and around the pole.

When he had finished, I realized that I had been holding my breath. As he strutted off stage, I tried to regain my breath, taking in big gasps of musty air. I started to cough but stopped when I realized who was walking towards me.

"Enjoy the show?" He teased flashing me a toothy grin. I felt my face grow hot.

"Haha, really funny." I rolled my eyes. Poked my cheek. I know we are just friends, but he can be touchy-feely sometimes. I have to admit, I kind of like it.

"So Ty, I did that bad huh?"

"I mean, you're Craig so..." I giggled. Craig laughed and shook his head. I noticed he was still wearing his work outfit. I looked down and felt my face grow darker.

"Like what you see?" He joked. I looked away blushing madly.

"J-Just change so we can go." I felt his eyes burning into my skull.

"Fine, I'll be out in a sec." He walked off into a small room to get changed.

I cupped my cheeks with my hands. Damn it, stop it! This is all your fault, Craig. I whined to myself, sitting down on a barstool. A few moments later, Craig came out of the room wearing tight, ripped jeans and a baggy sweatshirt. I took my hands from my face and stood from the stool.

"Ready?" I asked, grabbing my keys from my pocket. He nodded.

Suddenly, a random guy grabbed Craig's arm and pulled him towards him.

"Hey, babe, like your style." He said in a deep, raspy voice. He had a sly smile painted across his ugly face.

Craig stood defenseless, trying to break free of the man's grasp. He flashed me a help me expression and I rushed over to the two.

"Keep your hands to yourself, you bitch," I said, sternly. He laughed.

"And who's gonna make me?" He asked with that same stupid smile. I put my keys back into my pocket and snickered. Bring it on, bring it on!

I swung my fist and hit him directly in the right eye. He let go of Craig, long enough for him to run off behind me. I gripped the man tightly by the shoulders and gave him the death stare.

"If you ever touch him again, I swear, I will kill you!" I let him go and turned around to see Craig directly behind me.

"You didn't have to threaten the poor guy, Ty." He scowled. I shook my head.

"Nobody should touch you like that," I growled.

"Well, thanks anyway." He smiled. I nodded.

"Come on, let's go home." I took his hand and pulled him out of the crowded building. We quietly walked to my car and hopped in. Craig sighed as he flopped onto his seat.

"Ty?" He questioned.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"H-How come you seemed... so offended when that man grabbed me?" I looked out the window, avoiding his gaze because, I knew if I had looked over, I would've given in immediately.

"Y-You are my friend. I wouldn't want anybody to treat you that way." I finally looked over at him. His head hung low and I heard a small sigh escape his lips. "Craig, you okay?" I asked, inching closer to him. He looked up and forced a small smile.

"Yeah, I'm fine." His facial expression told me otherwise. I shook my head and started the car. The engine sputtered before starting up.

"Let's go home."

---------

Craig and I have been friends for almost five years now, but we've only lived together for two. Usually, I wouldn't have to pick him up from work, but over the weekend he had totaled his car, so today and yesterday I had to pick him up from work.

I didn't really develop feelings for him until about a year ago. I know he doesn't feel the same, that's the disappointing part, so I just keep it to myself.

The only other person who knows is Evan. Well, he is the only person I can really trust with this kind of stuff. Most of the other guys would go telling everybody they possibly could if they ever found out, but Evan wouldn't. He understands. It was like this for him and Jon, I mean, before they got together.

Man, I just wish Craig felt the same...

Sorry this chapter is so short, they may get longer as I continue to write, I don't know yet. To be honest, I will try to finish this story but I am such a busy body that I might get wrapped up in daily life and may never have time for this story, but I doubt that will happen. So, yeah... I will try to update as often as I can, while not completely botching up the story lol. Welp, I hope you enjoyed Chapter One! Thank you!!!
