I had to stay focused for this to work. I can't focus on Haydin right now. I need to get this puttana here so that we can find Nora and end this once and for all.

I looked at my watch again impatiently. She's fucking late. "Looking for someone?" I turned quickly and saw McKenna standing behind me with a gun pointed at me.

"Did you really think that I would trust you after leaving me for her?" I rolled my eyes. "What is the meaning of this." I decided to play along, knowing my men were surrounding me. "You thought I didn't know what you actually did for a living? God the bitch was right. Here, I actually thought you wanted me," her hand tightened on the gun. "Time for eternal rest." Before she could pull the trigger, a dart hit her in the neck. She dropped the gun, and started falling backwards. Cam and Kaiden ran over to me. "Had you been 2 fucking seconds later, she would have shot me!" They both picked her up, and placed her in the trunk.

I looked around and made sure the coast was clear. I walked swiftly back to the car and pulled off. I pulled my phone out and dialed Luca.

"Boss."

"Make sure no one is following our trail." I hung up and proceeded to drive towards the house. The drive wasn't too far, but I decided to take the long way in case I was being followed.

Pulling up to the house, my men stood around waiting for me. Giovanni and Antony pulled McKenna out of the trunk. "Lock her up in the basement. I'll be down in a minute." I walked in the house and instantly looked for Haydin. She stood laughing with my mom as they chopped up food. As long as I know she's safe, that's all I'm worried about. I backed away, walking down to the basement. McKenna laid still. "How much did you fuck douse her with!?" Camden rolled his eyes. "She'll be fine. We need to frisk her. We don't know what's on her." I started digging to make sure she wasn't armed with anything.

"Try the jewelry, women can hide shit in anything." I took off all the jewelry she had on, and crushed them under my foot. She groaned and started waking up. "How nice of you to join us." She tried to get out of the locks. "What the fuck? Where am I?" I kneeled down in front of her. "I think I'll be the one asking questions here." I stood up, and circled her. "So why are you working with them?" She looked scared. "Wh-who's them?" I slammed my hands on the chair arms. "You know who the fuck they are. Nora Smirnov. The bitch that held my mother captive for 12 years!" I stood up straight and pressed a button. "You won't get me to talk Dmitry." I turned my back to her. "No, but I definitely know someone who will."

I heard foot steps coming down the stairs. "Do your worst, but do NOT kill her." Gianna smiled sickly sweet at me. "My pleasure." She pulled a knife from the waistband of her pants, and walked towards McKenna. "So you send a little brat to kill me?" I leaned against the wall and counted the seconds before Gianna sliced her cheek. She shrieked and tried getting out of the chair. Gianna grabbed her face forcefully, and made her look her in the eye. "Call me a brat again and I will go against my brothers orders and gut you."

"Gia, prendersi cura degli affari." She looked at me and rolled her eyes. "The sooner your talk, the sooner this is over with." Gianna pulled a chair up in front of her. "If I tell you everything, will you let me go and we never speak of this again?" Gia looked back at me and smirked. "Of course. Now talk."

McKenna looked at me. "First off, my name is supposedly Luna, not McKenna. Haydin is my younger sister. Nora found me on the streets. She took me in when I was in need. She took care of me. Haydin had a happy fucking family. Nora told me all about our family history and how your fucking father killed my parents and your mother killed my sister. I wanted revenge for my mother, so I joined Nora. We were close to getting Haydin too, but you got in the way. You clouded her head," she scoffed. "And then you chose her over me. So my anger got worse and I wanted both of you to suffer. I wanted both of you to die. I'm sick of everyone choosing her over me! Her foster parents chose her over me! No one wanted me! So if she were dead, no one would be chosen over me." A tear streamed down her face. Gianna stood up and kicked the chair back. "And what about my mother? Hm? Did you know about her?"

"I did. I took part in half the beatings she got down there. She deserved everything she got." I pushed away from the wall and stalked over to her. "Where is Nora hiding out?"

"A warehouse on the outskirts of town. She's running a drug cartel and a trafficking ring. You won't win against her." I grabbed her face in my hand. "I guess you've never seen just how ruthless I can be."

I grabbed my trench knife, and showed it to her. "I never harm women. I have someone to do the dirty work for me," I set the knife on the table and started walking away, but before I did, I faced her again. "Finiscila." I turned my back and walked up the stairs. All you heard was her piercing screams echoing up the stairs.

I walked up to my father's office, and opened the door. Mom sat in his lap, hugging him. "We have the location. We leave tonight." Mom stood up. "I'm going with you. She's mine to kill."

"Like hell you are. You're staying here." She looked back at my father. "Bullshit Greyson. I'm going whether you like it or not." I looked at my father. "You can handle her here. You are not going back out there."

"Greyson Sergio Vincenzo. I am capable of making my own fucking decisions. I've been locked up for 12 years and I'm not about to be locked up in my own fucking home. I. Am. Going."

She stormed out of the office, slamming the door. I whistled. "She's gotten spicier." Dad sighed. "I can't keep her away, but you need to keep Haydin away for sure." I nodded curtly, and walked out.

I worry for my mother, but damn is that woman stubborn.
