Late at night, there is always a small, red light glowing quite dull in a small room but manages to make the room turn into every shade of red.

This small light always manages to scare a little girl called Mavi, she always would try to tell her parents to get rid of the light but they always would say things like:" No dear, the light suits your room" or "Why would you want it gone, it's so nice." but truth be told, the light scared her so she decided to take it down when she was left home alone but her brother was there.

Later on

Mavi's brother Max was downstairs when he heard a loud CRASH coming from Mavi's bedroom.  He went up to check on her an when he opened her door, he saw her on the ground holding what was left of the light in her hands and a look of pure regret on her face as  she had realized what she did.

Two days later

The red light was back that night, Mavi tried to ignore it but as she ignored it the more it got brighter until she had enough. She got up from where she was sleeping and went over to the light and touched it...She woke up in a cold sweat,

"It was just a dream" she thought.

She looked over to where the light was in her dream and saw that the light wasn't there, instead a letter....
