Dear little bird, the tales that you sing
Through frosted window panes, they ring
Rouse me from my slumber, usher to rise
Rouse me from my sorrows, to my surpriseDear little bird, feathers puffed with pride
Teeny achievements made on the other side
Chirping success, cheerfully inspire
Cool embers of my will into a fireHop up now! Hearty little dear
Watching you go, I do not feel fear
Bundling up, I shall too brave outside
Knowing that dear little bird will be my guideWhere are we going? That I don't know
Leave ephemeral tracks in glistening snow
That matters not, for now we can sing
Together as the days warm into spring
