Loving Arianna

Chapter 1

My roommate Ash  sits on my bed, looking at me with expecting eyes. " Come on Aria we don't have all day. You're interview with Mr. Harvard starts in a little while  so hurry up" she grumbles at me.

Walking out of my closet with the fifth outfit I tried on this morning, i look at her and ask  " do you think this outfit is okay for the interview"

" Aria  you look amazing in anything but if you try on one more outfit I am going to kick your ass" she replies while rolling her eyes at me.

"Okay okay I guess I will go with this one just for you" I told her with a smirk.

She pulls her phone out of her pocket and looks at it. Not a second later she jumps off my bed and grabs my hand pulling me out of the room " we have less than 30 minutes to get there." she explains.

I quickly ran into the kitchen to grab my purse and I hurriedly ran out of our apartment towards Ash's car. As soon as I shut my car door, I felt myself being thrown  forward causing my head to hit the dash. While rubbing my head, Ireach behind me to put the seat belt on. once I am done, I look over at ash and gave her a deadly glare , all she did was smile sheepishly at me.

"I'm sorry Aria  but I can't be late again and I don't want you to be late for  your interview." she explains while I just huff at her. Once we pull out of the parking lot  I start looking out the window watching all the people walking down the road, I start to feel nervous just thinking about my interview  and if i will get the job.

As if sensing my nerves, Ash  looks at me for a split second before turning back to the road. " Are you okay Aria?" she asked

  While still looking  out the window,  " I am just nervous and keep thinking I am going to mess up this interview." I tell her while playing with my hands.

I feel her  hand touch my leg causing me to look over at her, "Aria you will do amazing in that interview and just remember that when you get the job we will be working together." she tells me with a smirk on her face.

"I hope you are right I really need this job because I am slowly running out of savings" I tell her with a frown on my face.

I have been living on my savings for 6 month since I quit my last job. I checked my bank account to see that I was down to just a hundred dollars left to my name.  If this interview doesn't turn out good I honestly don't know how I will make it.

Ash looked at me with the most sympathetic smile and told me, " Aria I am always here for you but bestie you are going to be amazing so stop worrying."

Just as I was about to reply to her I heard her shut off engine, I looked out the window to see that we had finally arrived.

I looked over to where Ash was sitting  to see that she was already out of the car and was waiting for me to get out of the car. I slowly reached for the door handle and took a deep breath and got out.

" Come on ash we need to get inside," Aria says with a huff while walking to the door.

I had to walk fast just to be able to catch up with her. Once I reached her she was already walking inside the building.

This was the first time i have ever been inside Harvard Industries but from the look of it you could tell it was one of the older buildings in the city but it still had a modern touch with the furniture choices. The receptionist gave aria and I a  warm smile.

Ash turns around with a friendly smile and say ' Hello Julia i wish i could stay and talk more but I have to show my friend where the interviews are being held so i will talk to you later."

" I hope you get the job honey and talk to you later Ash"  Julia smiles and waves as we walk into the elevator.

You will do amazing don't worry i say in my head once the elevator doors close.
