Part 3
--Before the anniversary date.
I met Cindy while I’m teaching sa previous university na pinagturuan ko.
Cindy is not just an ordinary woman for me, hindi siya iba, she is all that I need after what happen sa amin ni lizalynn. Si Cindy ang nandyan when I need someone to cry during hard times.
Yes, lalaki ako but tao rin naman ako that feels pain.
One evening that night, second week of class na.
I was attend the university during 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm because that time I’m just a part time professor and I only attend those time during Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday only.
I’m done with my first evening class when I met her.
She was just an ordinary girl to look for the first sight because she is to plain sitting at the corridor table and looks like she also waiting for her next class while listening to his mp3.
Then I enter the room and set my things at the table.
Three students enter my class room that night looks like shock.
Those student ask their classmates..
“iba na ba professor natin?”
Sumagot sila ng pabulong
“oo kaya dalian niyo”
One student smile to me and I smiled back.
Of course self introduction happen again.
I can’t remove my eyes to that student smiled at me.
“okay class, I will start my introduction.”
They seem so quite parang may ghost naman na dumaan.
““Good morning class, I’m Prof. Sherwin Dela Rosa, I studied at Polytechnic University of the Philippines … I’m not look like my age ...”
I feel ease ng tumawa sila..
That student looks at me and of course smiling..
The rotation turns and she speak.
“hi classmate, of course I know I’m very familiar with you. Again I just do this for you sir” and give me a smile..
“I’m Cindy Mae Madrigal, this subject will mean to me a lot and also YOU sir.”
She sit down and smiled again.
Yes, si Cindy. She was my previous student.
I used to get to know cindy very much. Every time na uwian na.
Na mesmerizes ako during our first meeting but I have to set my limit student ko siya and hindi yun pwede.
One night nagkasabay kami ni cindy walking out the university, nakahihiwalay na kasi sila ng mga kaibigan niya and I don’t expect na we have the same route.
That night kasi I don’t feel hungry nakaroon kasi ng meeting earlier that because my complimentary food that serves my dinner.
Cindy: Sir!
Me: oh cindy?
Kunwari im not looking at her when she call me.
Cindy: saan ka umuuwi sir?
Me: ahhh I just ride any jeep there sa kanto going to sm city then I ride another jeep going home naman.
Cindy: ang hassle naman sir..
Me: ikaw? If you don’t mind me asking..
Cindy: ikaw naman sir oh, dyan lang ako umuuwi sometimes I just walk it na lang.. sa lacson..
Me: walk? Are you sure your walking?
Cindy: yes, sir.. wala naman masama sa mag lakad and besides mas okay mga yun sa mga tulog kong nerves..
Me: nakakapagalala naman ms. Cindy, would like me to walk you home?
Cindy: sir? Wag na po..
Me: sige na let me, hindi naman siguro masama…
Nag gentlemen moves ako.. hindi nag laon at napilitan na rin siya..
Cindy: ummm sir, curious lang ako… kamusta po kayo for the whole day?
Me: bakit mo natanong? Ok naman..
Cindy: kasi sir pag pasok niyo kanina seems not okay but now parang okay na kayo..
Me: hahaha ganun ba? Ikaw narin nag sabi nakakabuti ang paglalakad para sa natutulog kong nerves..
She just smiled at ang gaan sa feeling…
Every night sabay na kami mag dinner ni Cindy and I also walks her home..
Cindy: sir? Wala po bang nagaalala sa inyo sa when your going home this late..
Me: ahh hindi na rin naman ako bata di ba?
Cindy: ummm sir you know what I mean… girlfriend? Wife? Kidos?
I don’t want to ask her but I have a feeling that I don’t need to lie at her. Cindy is too nice as a friend or more than I could think of.
Me: umm I’m married and have my one kid.
After that she became quite..
Me: cindy? Are you okay?
I cant understand why she reacted that way..
Cindy: yes sir? But sir eh bakit po hinahatid niyo pa ako kung may nagaalala sa inyo? Its been three months nap o kasing ganito…
Me: I just want to see you safe..
Hindi ko napansin na nasa sa tapat na pala kami ng bahay nila..
Cindy: sir andito na po tayo… hindi ko po napansin…
Me: oo nga eh, sige pasok ka na…
Cindy: ingat pos a pag uwi salamat po sir. Good night..
Then she smiled at me and wave for good bye.
