"Then the Gods - The good Gods above told man, where they go, the light follows. The dark hides in the deepest depths, the light banishes all evil - all sin. The sin no longer lives in this domain, the world is no longer evil. They all have been banished to the sinful world below."

A powerful female chanted, several other females and males chanted after her.

"That's what the good God's commands."

"The good God's then said to populate this paradise blessed by us, as the Goddess of Sun left us with her gifts, and the God of Nature populated these lands."

"Thank the Gods! Oh praise! Oh praise!"

The chorus of women chanted along to the female standing in front of them all, holding a velvet covered book with a symbol on the front. She preached, standing over the willow bark stand, the ladies all on their knees, their hands firmly grasped.

"Then, as the descendants of the Goddess we all must spread her gift. Oh praise! We must bless these lands! We must spread her word!"

"Praise the Sun Goddess! Thank her for our nature and life!"

The women all chanted in unison, as the lady standing in the front of them all began to walk through the crowd. She continued her chant as she became visible to the back of the crowd: Sky blue hair covered by the grey veil, although she let few strands peak through, her eyes to match. Tanned skin, covered by her holy garb. Upon her chest, a brass curved cross with a ivory shaped crescent moon behind it, a symbolic star in the middle; all of which was held together by pearls. On her ear were brass earrings, on her body was a typical head Nun outfit: a corset, sleeves covering the arms around her waist was a clear scarf, covering the long drapery wrapped around her in dark color. All her outfit, all similar to one color; the night.

"However, comes with light, there is the dark! Dark is nothing to be feared! Nothing to harm us, after all we have the Night Goddess watching over us! She protects us from the sin of the night. No sinful beings dare harm us with her watching over us."

"Oh Praise her! Praise her!"

The females fell to their knees as they began to chant once more, the female stopping at the back of the room, her heels stopping their click. She turned back to the crowd, raising her hand.

"We can coexist. There is no God more powerful than the other. We praise the Night Goddess for protecting us!"

"Thank you Night Goddess for protecting us."

"Thank you, Nyx."

The blue haired female fell to her knees and looked up to the multicolored windows of symbols and maps, historical battles and Gods before her, as she clasped her hand and mumbled to herself.

"Oh praise her."

"My sincerest apologies my Grace, however, I must say this. Even in the farthest reaches of this land, different churches exist without being called a cult, however, as we represent the Goddess Nyx, it seems we are treated as such. In the countryside of these very lands, many worship the God of Land and Creation, Geb, who blessed us with our very lives. Others in the Northern Isles pray regularly to the God of Time, Chronos, who allow us our brief life on these lands. While we respect the church of the Sun and Light, despite our recent civil war, we cannot allow the constant disrespect of this very church."

Beryl sat at an oak desk, dipping her feather pen into the well of ink besides her as she continued to write a letter on a piece of parchment paper. She finished up, folding it into a square. She then cut apart a roll of wax and began to heat it over the candle.

The female continued this process until she heard a knock on the door, although ever so quietly as if to not disturb her process. The door opened up, revealing the same male from the mass. He bowed his head, a frown on his face. His long blonde hair reached past his shoulders. He wore similar dark attire to that of Beryl. He slowly opened his dark blue eyes.

"Father Cedrick, please do tell me some good news." Beryl said with a strain in her voice.

Cedrick shook his head. "I'm afraid I cannot."

Beryl let out a deep sigh as she put the melting wax onto the paper and then stamped it with the crest of the Night Church. Cedrick continued.

"I am here to say that the plague of the masses has only grown worse. After talking to several of the other Father's here, it seems that there is not enough money this term to continue the treatment of many of the people. The Doctor herself said that there is little supplies left, and that is due to the lack of money."

"Not even the Lords or nobles will help us?" Beryl interrupted.

"It seems their good grace has left, and they have turned their back on this church. Not even the once most loyal can spare anymore. It seems the war has left many unsure of this church..." Cedrick replied as he sat on the chair next to her.

Beryl looked tense towards the letter, placing it on the silver platter besides her.

"I'll venture out to talk to the King. Perhaps there is spare money that he can find us. We have been taking most of the burden from this recent plague, as the Sun Church is too greedy to help the suffering. I'm sure he will understand if I talk to him."

Cedrick nodded, taking the letter and walking to the door. "Let the Gods be on our side."

"Let the Gods be on our side." Beryl repeated.
