I'll write more of the story soon:)
CHAPTER ONE.
Groggily, I opened my eyes. Everything was white, and eerie. I tried to remember what had happened, but my mind was a thick haze of fog. I tried to sit up, but something will such force pushed me back down. This was when I started to panic, what was happening? This was only meant to happen in movies, no t real life. I suddenly felt a sharp pain across my chest, then again on my leg. Laughter. A low, booming laughter filed the air around me, then another sharp pain on my forehead, and finally I heard a sickening crunch, my leg. All at once, everything started to come back into focus. It was dark, and narrow, there were pale blobs looming in front of me, they moved up and down, in sync with the laughter. That was when it all came back, I was on a mission, and these jerks were falling right in my trap.
4 weeks earlier
"Katy, please meet me in room T86, Henry", popped up on my new blackberry. I sighed, I had only just got into the building, and already I've got someone on my case. I pressed the elevator button, and got in, swiped my card, had my eyes scanned, and pressed the button 66. It sounds complicated, but it was just part of my routine. Just as the doors were closing, someone stuck their arms in between the doors, and the doors automatically opened. A tall man with reddish-brownish hair walked in, and stood beside me, he had a big briefcase in his left hand, and was talking to somebody on the phone with the other. He only spared a glance at me, smiled, and then went back to his blackberry. I was used to this though, with a job like mine, you sacrifice everything. The opening of the elevator doors disrupted my train of thoughts, as I started to walk out, the man tapped me on the shoulder, and handed me a piece of paper. That one move blew his cover, but I didn't show him I knew. I simply smiled at him, and walked away. As I turned the corner, I heard the doors close, the elevator rumble, and then nothing. It scared me how quiet this level was, it was very unsettling. I was almost relieved when I got to room T86. On the right hand side, there was a hand pad, I placed my hand in the slot, and waited for it to let me pass. I looked around, and noticed a small black circle on the top left hand side of the door. I knew what it was, but it still amazed me how many security cameras this place needed. I then heard the beep of the hand pad, and the door opened for me. I walked into the 'apartment' glancing around for Henry. It didn't take me long to find him, as he was in the library, sitting in his leather seat, staring into space. His eyes then flickered over to me, and he nodded his head, signalling me to sit down. When I was seated he looked at me for a long while before speaking.
"Katy, this is bigger than anything you've ever done. I couldn't think of anyone else, to do this job, but you. It's the Pit bull gang, they're plotting something we do not know what, but it's something big, that will devastate most of California. They need a sidekick, not one on their gang, a hostage, from the street, they will use this person. And this person will be you Katy. You will lead them astray." He paused and looked up at me. I kept my face emotionless. He licked his lips twice before carrying on. "It's a big task, are you up for it?" I didn't answer for a while, I knew this was coming, I was more than prepared for it, but it was a huge task to ask for. The Pit Bull Gang were powerful, they were wanted in 47 different countries, and were feared by every single person on the planet. I replied simply. "Ok." I looked into Henry's eyes, and saw a glint, but it was gone as soon as it appeared. I got up swiftly and headed for the door, I could hear him start to tap away on his keyboard. I chose my moment. "By the way, I'm not sure if you're aware, but there was one in the elevator this morning." And I walked away.
I'm a spy, I'm powerful, more powerful than many people think.
