His burns were still there and showed no signs of fading. it reminded him ever since that day the plan that he put in motion. The plan that he knew would destroy her and her business but little did he know Lila had a secret of her own.
He walks into the room that he shares with her fully dressed into a suit but was constantly messing with his tie. "Ergh this stupid tie, How am I supposed to even do this stupid job interview on wall street anyway if I can't even do this stupid tie."

She giggles and sits up in the bed motioning him to come toward her. He walks over to her and she helps him with her tie. "Listen, you are so smart and you are going to smash it, they will love you. Trust me."
Connor grins at her. "Are you sure about that?" She pushes him playfully and kisses him. "Of course i am. I fell in love with you didn't I?
Connor snorts. "That's not the way I remember it, i recall you pitying me because I barely had no money to my name plus you did scold me with that cup of tea of yours hence why I've kept you away from tea ever since."

She laughs. "And your good looks had basically nothing to do with it?" He smirks back at her and kisses her back. "You tell me. You're the one that asked me out and took me on ever since, Sure that wasn't just guilt and not my good looks?"
Lila sighs, "I admit I did feel guilty and I have ever since but your amazing good looks were just a bonus."
He pushes her jet black hair out of her eyes and kisses her passionately. "And I forgave you for that." He pulls down the top of his top and shows her his burns.
"This, I can live with because they led me to you. The most beautiful girl in the city."
He desperately wanted to go back into bed with her and make her feel so good but he knew he had to get to his job interview. He knew that he couldn't be late.
He smiles at her, "As much as I wanna continue this glorious trip down memory lane I have to go." She nodded understanding, "To be Continued?"
