Chapter Three: Lila's Secret

Whilst Connor was at his job interview at Wall street. Lila was somewhere else, Instead of being home and waiting for him like the so called wife that she was supposed to be, She was lying there in a hotel room with another man.

This was like a routine for her for she has a different man every week.

She did this before she met Connor nearly five years ago but decided that that part of her life wasn't going to change even after she met Connor.

And that for her wasn't about to change even after she married Connor three years ago.

The guy next to her this time was called Josh and like all the guys before him, He definitely fancied the pants off her but of course there was one minor detail.

He had fallen in love with her but he knew that she didn't feel the same. The deal between them both was just sex and he knew that nothing more would ever happen between them.

But as much as he enjoyed spending time with her, He couldn't ignore the huge pangs of guilt he kept having inside him.

Despite the fact he never met the guy, He still felt bad for him.
He decided he couldn't ignore it any longer. He sits up in the bed beside her and looks at her. "We can't keep doing this..You to tell him about us."

She looks at him angrily, "We don't have to tell him shit, If Your so called conscience has finally got the better of you, then you can get out." He sighs in reply. "I'm not saying that Lila, I'm just concerned for you because if he finds out.."

She yells at him. "He isnt going to find out." He grabs her by the hand and squeezes it gently. "You don't know that Lila because if he does then he will kill me and you know it, Why do you even do this anyway?

She looks at him curiously. "Why do you?"
Josh snaps, "Why I do it doesn't matter because I am the only one of us that is actually single.. I am not going to be some kind of homewrecker so answer my damn question."

Lila growls in reply. "I don't know! Okay? I've just always done it long before I even met Connor, Don't get me wrong the sex with Connor is amazing but I feel like I still need to do this like I'm missing something."

He looks at her sadly, "Do you even love him? Or Love me?"
Lila groans with her hands on her head. "I don't love you in that way.. It was Just sex okay? As for Connor, I really think I do love him yes..Otherwise I wouldn't have married him."

He spits at her with venom, "Shame You can't stay fucking faithful isn't it. Don't blame me if he ever finds out.. Who do you think you are playing with people's feelings like this? I have to tell him it's better that it comes from me and if he hurts me then it's all your flaming fault."

He grabs his jacket and puts it on covering his tattoos up and brushes his jet black hair. He takes one last look at her before leaving. "I hope your happy with your conscience."

He storms out slamming the door behind him. Lila calls out to him. "Wait! Please you can't tell him."

Realising he was already gone she sinks back into the bed and sobs. "You'll destroy my marriage."
