LOUI.

“laters loui!” Nadine said as we bid goodbye to each other. She accompany me here in my next class after we spend the whole lunch break together.

I smiled to her as my response, then she left.

Sakto pagpasok ko, dumating na rin ang aming prof. umupo ako sa tabi ni Shane.

She greeted us “goodafternoon” and we greeted her same. She started to introduce herself and talked about some stuffs.

“she seems…. not approachable. Ano sa tingin mo?” shane asked  kahit hindi nakatingin sa akin.

“I think so.” I looked again at our professor and examined her. I think her age is about in the early 30’s, so hindi pa siya ganun katanda. She’s wearing an eyeglasses and her hair is pinned like a bun. Yung parang mga lola na nagkwekwento ng mga stories sa mga apo nila hehe. And then she’s in the usual uniform of the professors here in our university.

She continued to talked a lot of things and because nabobored na ako dahil medyo wala namang kwenta yung sinasabi niya, I peeked at my phone in my bag. I saw there’s a message from Jake.

Kaninang umaga pa pala niya yun sinend but ngayon ko lang nabasa.

Seeing his name in my screen made me remembered something.

It’s been two days since Shane’s party. But the memories that night are still fresh in my mind.

“Ah Loui, I just want to get your number. If it’s ok with you?” he asked habang naglalakad kami papuntang gate ng aming bahay.

“sure” then he lend me his phone and I typed there my number. “here” I said after I’m done.

“thanks.”  A small smile flashed on his handsome face.

“thanks for driving me home” I said when we reached the gate.

“anytime. Pano ba yan, I think I have to go now.”

“goodnight. Text nalang kita ah”

“okay. goodnight din”

He started to walked back in his car and before he could enter his car,

“drive home safely!” I shouted. He looked at me and gave me a smile. “yeah I will” he said before entering his car.

I waved my hands to him hanggang sa tuluyang na siyang makaalis.

“HEY LOUI!” I got back to my senses when Shane shouted at me.

“hey. you don’t need to shout” I was too preoccupied of my thoughts that I couldn’t even realize that everybody is leaving the room except me and Shane.

“e kanina pa kasi ako Loui ng Loui dito. Ikaw naman tulalang tulala dyan. Hahaha”

“I’m sorry. May sinasabi ka ba?”

“hahaha. Omg! You’re daydreaming a while ago. Hahaha” she said while laughing.

I know she’s teasing me and I ignored her.

“nasan na si miss?” ang aga kasi niya nagdismiss e.

“umalis na. may emergency ata e. next meeting nalang daw yung continuation.” Nagsimula na rin siyang mag ayos ng gamit at ilagay yon sa bag niya. Buti naman at tinigilan na rin nya nag kakatawa at panunukso sa kin.

“ui cge I have to go na ah. Marami pa kong aayusin for my campaign e. bye bye” sabi niya sabay nagmamadaling umalis.

Ako nalang ang naiwang mag-isa sa room. Siguro mga 5 minutes din ang nakalipas, before I decided to leave.
