Both reach the boat; the boy jumps in while Kratos places the tree down and kneels.

     "Boy."

Kratos throws one end of the rope to the boy while he secures the other end to the tree with a hook. The tree now attached to the boat, Kratos rose to join the boy in the boat.

     "That is enough."

Kratos says signaling to the boy which in turn makes the boy move to the other end of the boat; As if rehearsed. Stepping into the boat the wood croaks and aches and the added weight. Now seated Kratos uses the paddle to push themselves away from the dock.

     "Father?"

     "What?"

"Did something change?" Questioned the young boy. "The forest feels different now."

"Everything is different, boy. Try not to dwell on it." Kratos replies with a hint of disdain.

     "Yes, sir."

The conversation ends just as they reach the next dock.
