KANINA pa ako hindi mapakali. My head is thinking different scenarios in my head. My anxieties and insecurities are starting to devour my whole body. In result, kanina pa ako palakad lakad at di mapakali sa harap ng mga kaibigan ko. I called them which is the first thing I did after what I saw.
'Shit! What the f***! I'm going to do?!'
“Stop it already, Xyrene.” Cesia said in a cold tone.
I ignored her and continue to walk back and forth.
“It's normal you know.” Mavis said, rolling her eyes dramatically.
“But eomma!!” I retarded back.
“Just calm down, bal, okay.” Lana said.
I just stop on my tracks and stared them who's sitting comfortably on the couch.
“And how am I supposed to do that?!”
Grecia stand up in front of me and hold my shoulder.
“There.” She lightly push towards the couch, making me sit. “Tsk.. Bakit ba kinakabahan ka ng sobra diyan? You should be happy rather than being a scaredy cat.” pagsusungit ni Grecia sakin.
“I'm happy, okay.” I said then sigh heavily. “It's just...”
They just stared at me, waiting for me to continue what I was saying.
“Just that?” Kaia irritatingly said.
“It's just I don't know if he'll be happy...” I said.
The tone of sadness were visible on my voice.
After I spoke, they all stand up and hug me. We remain in that state for minutes.
“I'm sure he will.” Elle said, giving me a genuine smile.
Our drama interrupted when we hear phone rings.
I just rolled my eyes.
'Here we go again'
Over a decade naming pagkakaibigan, alam na alam ko na kung ano ito.
All of them checks their phones, and they got busy. As always.
They been summon by their love ones.
I sighed.
“Mauna na ako ha.” Kaia said while currently talking with Mint on the phone at the same time picking up her bag.
I smiled at her. “Sure. Ingat.”
She hugged me.
“Bawi na lang ako. Ingat ka at kayo rin.” sabi niya at isa isa silang pinagtuturo.
After a minute, Cesia did the same. She was texted by Thunder, her boyfriend. Magde-date pa daw sila kasi malapit na siya umalis. She only have a few days left so she really try very hard to spend time with us and also to her boyfriend. She even reminded me not to repeat what I did before.
“I have to go, bal.” Elle said while busy replying on Jake. Her ex which is she's currently courting.
“Same.” Grecia said then stand up, fixing herself. “May importanteng meeting ako eh.”
