"Miyuki can we talk alone?" Hikari asked her bestfriend after Miyuki's section's professor dismissed them.
"Sure." Miyuki immediately answer. Miyuki thought that Hikari has something to say about lovelife and etc. in short, she thought about gossips when Hikari asked her for some of her time. Hikari became her bestfriend since first year college so they are bestfriend for one year, So even though they are separated now because there section was divided and the section where Miyuki belongs now is a combination of the day and night section, they remain close bestfriends.
"Let's go to SAC." Hikari invited her. SAC means students' activity center.
"Sure, let's go." she smiled.
When they arrived, there are few people staying there, so they went to it's secluded part.
"Hey, Miyuki, do you believe in love?" Hikari asked.
Here it is. Miyuki thought.
"Hmm. I'm not too sure about that."
"Well, you should be. Did You know that it is due to love that You existed in this world? That You are still alive?" Hikari said.
"Well, your right. If mom and dad did not love me, I would have died or abandoned." Miyuki said.
"That's true. But that is not what I mean."
"Huh? Then what do You mean?" I asked.
"What I mean is the love of God towards us."
Miyuki bacame silent. It's like her mouth have been sealed. It is not what she expected.
"Well, you know about the story of Adam and Eve, right. That God created them, our greatest ancestors. It is written in the book of Genesis, Chapter one verse twenty seven. In the book of Genesis, God always communicated with them face to face. Because that time, God is building up intimate relationship with them." Hikari said.
"..." Miyuki just nodded.
"But suddenly, the serpent appeared and fooled Eve about eating the fruit of the tree of life. Which caused her and Adam to sin right, because the disobeyed God by eating that fruit. And that is when they give birth to Sin."
"Yeah. I know about that." Miyuki said.
"Do you believe that all of us have sinned." Hikari asked.
"Well, yeah. No one is perfect afterall."
"That's right. Because it is written in Romans 3:23 that 'all have sinned and fall short for the glory of God.' Do you know what is the payment for committing sins?"
"What?"
"In Romans 6:23a, it said that 'for the wages of sin is death.' therefore, a payment for a single sin is death, so based on that just how many times you have to die?" Hikari asked.
"Countless times."
"Yeah, that's right. But it is also written in Hebrews 9:27 that 'Just as man is destined to die once and after that, to face judgment.' so knowing this, it is not enough to pay for all your sins, right?"
"Hmm.." Miyuki nodded.
"So, being aware of it, we, humans decided to do things that can we thought can save us, which are good works, good moral, education and religion. But those things can never save us. Do you know why?"
"Why?" Miyuki immediately asked.
"Well, doing good works is good but it is written in Isaiah 64:6a that 'For all of us has become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags.' meaning, no matter what good works that we do in this world, in the eyes of God, we will remain as sinners."
