I started shaking... No this thing wasn't my mother, I needed to run. I stepped back but it had trapped me in the need to know how it knew me or mother, what it was.
'curiosity killed the cats mother it seems' it whispered then flew into the afternoon. I stood in the abandoned courtyard and just stared at where that creature... My 'mum' had been moments before and as the sun set over the buildings of the city, I continued down the alleyway to where I was currently staying with a group of people who could help me.I reached the tall skyscraper and entered the pristeen walkways. My dishelved hair and to big jacket didn't belong in this perfect building, everything was neat and trim and flash. I was given disapproving glances and was started at quit a lot as I continued to the back of the building where I was stopped by two men who at the sound of a small yet strong voice let me through. A rather large lady was pacing in the courtyard of the building and only stopped when I hadn't said anything. She wandered over to a chair and sat down, I followed suit. I leaned over to her and whispered wary of listening ears "there was a shadow in the courtyard...I don't.... I don't know what it wanted but... But it chased me through the alleys then somehow it shifted into my... My' saying it outloud siddenly became more difficult, the word had turned hard and pasty in my mouth and after the surprise encounter sad and angry tears started falling down my face.
