I was walking down the side walk with my brother, "What are we gonna have for lunch?" I asked my brother. "I want Noodles & Company," I said loudly.
"Fine," he agreed, as I sat down at a table and he went in to order. I scrolled through my Instagram feed and noticed a group of boys across the street.
One boy caught my attention. He had blue, glowing eyes. His smile was as bright as the sun. His friends were nudging him and he was blushing. I then noticed him looking at me too, I looked the other direction. My thoughts were interrupted by my brother coming back, thank god.
"This is amazing,"I said shoveling noodles into my mouth. My brother finished his noodles and got up.
"Alright, my friends are here, I'm gonna go. Invite one of your friends, I'll drive you guys home at 9pm," he told me. I looked at my phone, it was 2pm, I texted my friend, Natalia.
Me (Jamie): Hey can you come to the glen? ;)
Nat: Yeah, I'll be there at 3.
I locked my phone, grabbed my purse and headed to Starbucks. I got a vanilla bean frap, I don't like coffee. I grabbed it from the counter, and walked out. I made my way to Forever 21 and got a skirt and a couple shirts.
I wasted sometime walking around and it finally was 3pm. "Hey," Nat called out to me from behind. I ran and gave her a hug.
"Hey," she said to me.
"Hey, wanna go to some stores," I asked.
"Yeah, just let me grab some Starbucks first" she begged.
We headed towards Von Mar. My heart stopped I saw him again and it was pretty clear he saw me too.
