Dipper pov:

I was sitting on the couch with Mabel, doing nothing. Our Sunday ritual. We were eating cheese puffs and drinking Pitt cola while thinking and watching tourist's come and go.
"So." Mabel says. "Sundays, eh? Nearly thirteen!"
"Yeah." I say. "Won't that be exciting?" But I'm not concentrating on Mabel. I'm concentrating on Stanford who just came outside with a needle.
"Ah! There you are! I'm doing a quick blood test, just to make sure there are no sicknesses or side affects caused by the portal." Ford explained. A blood test? Uh oh. That's not good.
"A blood test?" I ask.
"Yep. It'll take a couple days to process, but I'll have the answered by Wednesday at least" he answers. Wednesday? That gives me time. " I just need your arm." He says. Mable and I give him our arms, and he withdraws blood.
If I'm to stay hidden, I'll need to act fast. But that shouldn't be a problem, right?

Ford Pov:

I'd just taken my nieces and nephews blood, and put it into the machine. It would run the blood through some tests, and have the answers on Wednesday. Simple enough. Dipper seemed a little nervous, but I'm sure he's fine now. I wonder if he has a fear of needles or something. I open up the journal and look through some of his journal entries. Nothing. Ah well. It's not unusual to be nervous. But If it's not unusual, then why do I feel like it's important? Ugh. Maybe, maybe I'm just tired. What am I doing? I'll go upstairs and help Stanley or something. Sounds good to me.

Mable's Pov:

Great uncle Ford just took a blood test. I hope I'm an alien! I voice this to Dipper.
"Yeah" he laughs. "And I'm part demon."
"Really?" I ask. He laughs again.
"No, not really." He says. He sure didn't sound like he was kidding. Eh. Maybe that's just me. We continue to just laze around. I like Sundays, because we're just sitting with the occasional conversation. Sometimes I wonder if Dipper uses this time to think of his nerd stuff. Or Wendy. Then again, he's over Wendy. Ha! Now I'm thinking about what Dipper is thinking about!
